He said something about Harrys hands earlier then made a comment about it being the final - they were not "strictly" () judging just giving a guideline tonight, I think thats why he didnt really make any criticzms

Craig's not a pain!! If it wasn't for Craig, 10s would no longer have any meaning!

No way! He's by far the most consistent judge, yes he's critical but he's incredibly constructive. And the only judge that remembers he has a score lower than 5 or 6. Craig is the only judge I listen to, and if he scores good, I know it's good.

I agree, I like Craig, if he has to criticise it's always constructive, not like Jason Gardiner who is just plain nasty, he's the reason I stopped watching DOI. No, definitely don't get rid of Craig, he's a daaaaaarrrling !!!

Craig is the best judge. The most honest, the least patronising.

Craig is the best judge by far. I'd ditch Len and Alesha next series and bring Ian Waite and Karen Hardy in.

craig is the one I'd want my marks from. Used to be len but he has gone all DWTS. A 10 from craig is a highlight. A 10 from aleisha is meaningless.

Keep Craig! I now understand him and think he marked things well tonight, first time ive understood Craig

Another rubbish post - they should confiscate the 10's from Alesha and Bruno - they have no perspective.

get rid of Craig, no way - the guy is so dead pan in his delivery and always makes me laugh one things for sure I reckon he'd be brilliant as a poker player with that face of his.

Craig gave 10's to the Donovan non tango and heeley falling over a lot dance. He's no more unbiased or accurate then the rest of them.

Why did he give 10 for Harry's quick step when he still had a lazy sickle left foot?
Why did he give 9 for Chelsee's jive when he said "the dance was incredible" and actually smiling.
Why did he give 9 for Chelsee's rumba when he said "it was absolutely magnificent".
Why say Chelsee's quick step was "1st class" and give 9.
He had loads of 'boos' for his marking tonight.
Just didn't 'get him tonight' but do I usually think his marking is fair. Just my opinion.

I don't understand him at all, Chelsee's Rumba, Jive, and QUickstep were all streets ahead of her Paso Doble... yet scored mere 9's.

My comments?

Craig is the fairest judge on the panel, and always tries to comment upon something that could be improved (so he is also constructive in his criticism). Never seems to over-mark, and only gives a 10 for what he sees as perfection. So you know that when Craig gives a 10, boy was it a great dance.

Craig is a judge who I have the utmost respect for, Len to a vastly lesser degree. Bruno and Alesha are so off the scale it is unbelievable

Those two to go and bring in Karen and Ian please- put the emphasis back to the dancing

Well, I agree. Actually, when you compare each judges' scoring relative to the average of the other judges, you find that Bruno and Craig are the most consistent. So, not only are they more entertaining, critical and constructive in their comments but they're the fairest-scoring too.

I'm quite happy with craig - he's still a bit unpredictable when it comes to his comments and scores but he's honest, doesn't blow smoke up their backsides and provides constructive criticism

I DO wish that he wouldn't make up words though - spatulistic and lumpestuous are NOT words

it's Len that should go, not Craig

Absolutely disagree. Tough but fair and nicer than Jason Gardiner was on DOI. Gives praise where praise is due. You need a Mr. Nasty on a panel, although he's a lot nicer than he used to be. You also need a clown (Bruno). Len is too generous, (but tougher on DWTS). Alesha - what can you say ? Not qualified to be judge and has destroyed the value of a 10, as another poster said.

I have to agree with this - Aleisha does bring some glamour, femininity, and experience from the SCD contestant side of things, but there are many more who could perform the role better than she.

I am not in the 'bring back Arlene' club, (though I do like and respect her), but some of the professional dancers (not just Strictly pros though), I have seen on ITT would bring so much to the judging panel.

He is the most consistent and fair/open minded judge on the panel and has always been. He gives good criticism and isn't afraid to say if something is bad. The same as he will give praise where it is due.
It's no surprise that a 10 from Craig gets the reaction it does, it's because when he gives them out the performance has deserved it.
This is not to say he doesn't have favourites, of course he does, he's human, but I don't believe he over or under marks to compensate, he's as critical of the ones he likes as the ones he doesn't.
He didn't give Chelsee a 10 for her rumba because it wasn't perfect, there were some obvious little hiccups during the dance and some of the transitions were a little awkward, same with her jive, she had a couple of very tiny mistakes.
No-one danced "perfectly" because there is no such thing as a perfect dance, something can always be improved, however the judges mark as near to perfect as they see fit.

No way, Jose - Craig is the best judge on the panel and he does judge fairly unlike some who over mark and have their little favourites. Bringing in someone who consistently gives out 10's has debased the meaning of a perfect score.
