That was awful - not to speak to them as runners up. Poor, poor, poor! What a disgrace!

Such a shame...

Very disappointing indeed. An explanation please producers? If it was because the show had over-run perhaps the unnecessary dance with the other couples should have been ditched.

It's a shame. They've done their level best. Should have at least 30 seconds of commiserations.

I was thinking that, it's like they because they came 2nd they were completely ignored

People who were out in the first few weeks got more attention then they did!

Ikr I thought that was rude, I think it was because mcfly wasted time running into the floor lol

Poor form BBC. 14 weeks of hard work. Ushered from the floor without a chance for a single 'thank you' to each other or the public.

We had to listen to yards and yards of boring Jason grinding on and on and on. Poor Chelsee I feel very hurt for her.

In the past the losers have always had longer for nterview than the winners and, it seems, it was designed this year so questions could be asked of the winners.

Basically, the error, is in announcing the results too close to the end. They need to have a minute or two more, then they can all be interviewed for at least long enough to say thank you to their
professionals.

It's swings and roundabouts. On the week the finalists were announced, both Harry and Chelsee were congratulated and interviewed, but being named last, no time to was given to congratulate and interview Jason.

I doubt any of the contestants have anything more to add to what they have already said in the weekend and several mid-week interviews over the last 4 months ("arnt I right Pasha").

They say the same thing every time, thank you to my partner, it's been amazing thanks everyone for voting....you didn't miss a thing

The ending was just bizarre the most bizarre final I've seen on SCD. They really went too overboard with the whole issue of Blackpool etc. In 04 when Jill Halfpenny won the final at Blackpool SCD was still relatively new there was less hype than tonight. There was really too much repetition of how much it meant to them etc. After tonight's bad ending I doubt that the final of SCD will be at Blackpool for some time to come.

Three months of Pasha and the public building up Chelsee's confidence, and with one fell of Tess's 'push off you two, you've lost' could have really upset her.

She took it well though, said she was 'fine,' but I'm sure she would have wanted to thank her mentor and friend at the end.

It really did come across like that. It was so dismissive and rude.

Unfortunately they did that last year too. Maybe they think it would spoil the mood they want to have at the finish to interview those that finish second?

I cant think of an ideal way to handle the ending.

But I'm sure, it has happened in past Finals....They need to give more time...for the end.

And an extra ITT....on Sunday.

Exactly.

It was a shame that Chelsee and Pasha weren't interviewed, and equally that neither Kristina nor Aliona were allowed to say anything. In previous years both the pro and celeb would have had the chance to say something. Shame on the BBC for thinking that 5 minutes of random people telling us what they loved about Strictly was better than allowing those who actually competed to say their thankyous and farewells...it wasn't.

Series 7 - they spoke to Ricky and Natalie while everyone else in the background, including Chris & Ola, stood politely listening. Then they interviewed the winners. Much better atmosphere with all the pros and celebs standing behind cheering and congratulating, and everyone got to have their say.

I was very surprised at the way they pushed aside Chelsee & Pasha like they were an afterthought. Considering how great a pairing they've been throughout the show (they should've won IMO), their treatment once the winner was announced was really shoddy.

I'm so gutted.

Chelsee had some opportunities to thank Pasha after their dances. But i just wanted to hear from both of them especially from Pasha after the results. Just few words would have done for me. BBC, Mcfly whoever it is, they f***ed up a big time.

Not enough appreciation for a wonderful choreographer, great addition to the show, Pasha, not even an opportunity to let him speak for his celebrity. Absolutely gutted.

I blame the McFlea boys barging on & getting in the way.

I don't blame the McFly boys. The runner up never seems to get a look in. I don't see why they can't just have one more IT2 programme, in which to interview all three finalists.

If it worked that well then they should have kept that system. There does need to be more recognition for those in second place.
