Well I'm sure the millionaire and winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2011, Harry Judd, cares what you think of him.

These two have always been the two faves for McFly fans though right?
I should know because I work with one of their fans
And they vowed to vote for them even before they knew what shows they would be on

That sums it up. I know which role model I prefer. His parents did a great job.

I agree with this
Unfortunately these days TV is completely overrun with talent-less reality TV types who just want to be famous - quite often for being stupid, seems to be something they are proud of!
Harry has got a talent as a drummer, worked very hard to improve his dancing on SCD and also turned out to have good manners and be very considerate and gracious.
He is a super role model

Did he have an unfair advantage though with his training last year for performing for children in need?

Well I suppose it's easy if you've grown up in a nice middle class family, want for nothing, go to private school etc.

However I feel that im a celeb proved that you do not have to do much to win one of these shows if you already have an established fanbase
Both Dougie and Harry equally boring personalities but both with an already guaranteed number of votes the moment they signed up for their shows
As for Chelsee unfortunately for her she was up against it tonight no matter how much better she performed.

Harry nice guy but fortunate to win
Who knows it could be Tom who will now sign up for CBB ”

I am not a McFly fan. I have hardly watched Strictly but had no choice tonight. Chelsea came across as an absolute sweetheart. Harry also came across as a very nice, polite young man. I watched a bit of I'm a Celeb and thought Dougie was the same. Nothing to do with their being in McFly. And, after the success of those two, I wouldn't blame anyone else in the band for signing up to another reality show if they're as nice as those two lads. Being nice, polite and respectful does not equal boring. It's actually very nice to see and a good example to youngsters that you don't have to F and go to be the better person

I think he said that was 4 days. Obviously a massive advantage.
Scraping the barrel of excuses I think.

He trained for one week then, and had one week less this time didn't he? Hardly an advantage considering other than that one week, he's never had any dance training.

And if boring now means being humble, polite, well-mannered and not needing to be centre of attention, then I'll take boring every time.

Did the others have four days of professional training before they signed up to this then?

Doesn't mean you have to swear and act a moron to be considered to have a personality, he is dull
Nice guy probably but so dull
And that is two of them now Dougie and now Harry, personality free zones

I don't find Harry remotely dull. Quite the reverse.

But even if he were, surely that is preferable to being a vulgar, common chav? We have quite enough of those on television - and in society - thank you very much.

No, love, working hard to create a decent life for your family - the very definition of middle class values that, sadly, seem anathema to some - is never "easy". It's certainly damned harder than relying on State handouts.

Goodness, you're not scraping the barrel to be sour about Harry's win are you? You're burrowing deep beneath. But it won't change a thing...

No but they had a whole weeks extra training at the start which Harry lost due to CIN.

Working class are equally hard working if not harder working due to not having a family with the funds to ensure a great schooling and Financial backing etc and not all are to be considered chavs, Benefit cheats etc
Some deserve to be knocked for their disgraceful behaviour that is true, but as the recent riots proved thugs, thieves and general inappropriate behaviour is not solely down to the lower class of society

Yes, they McFly boys do have a personality but they have to share it. Unfortunately they haven't got the rota system quite right yet so it's rarely with the correct McFly at the apposite time.

I think we all get the picture, you think Harry and Dougie are dull. Fortunately, a far greater majority of people don't agree, myself included. That's why they both got voted WINNERS !!! yay

And before you comment on me being another McFly fan, I didn't even know who the members of McFly were. I just thought that Dougie was a really sweet, funny guy in IAC and the runaway winner, and Harry, I'd noticed quite early on as a fantastic dancer, and another sweet, lovely guy.

I've never been interested in these McFly boys till recently. I saw Harry on Strictly...then Dougie on the Jungle!
I watched both - and VOTED (which I don't normally do) for them both on both programmes! (Hah! Wish I was a gambler!)
Dougie DOES have a personality! He's very cute and is a normal sort of young guy! He has a good sense of humour too!
Harry is a very nice guy....middle class, OK, but he is still a very humble nice chap!
I wish I could meet them down the pub - I bet we'd have a right laugh!!

Of course you did
I would not dare call you a McFly fan, your words speak wonders

I agree. I didnt know anything about the Mcfly boys before, Id heard of Dougie though, and I am surprised how lovely they all are. Harry doesnt strick me as 'boring' he just isnt a showbiz loon who goes around behaving brash and in your face, but rather polite, sweet, good looking and charming - he is a nice guy but without being too nicey nice smug about it. As for Dougie, some people mentioned they didnt notice him in the jungle -perharps that's because the first week was dominated in the edited HLs by that Mark from TOWIE and Antony Cotton  Dougie appeared to have a personality, to me, when we finally got to see something of him.
What's so lovely, above everything, is how much they all care about each other - the bandmate that greeted Dougie on the IAC bridge seemed more thrilled and happy for him than Dougie was for himself. Im sure many people could only wish for such close friendships.

Pretty amazed at the "class war" part of this thread. As someone who was lucky enough to be brought into a middle class background and ended up in a working class one - jog on whatever.
As for dissing Mcfly as a band or a whole theres more than one person in it and at least one (Harry) has acted with decorum throughout the show, whilst being dissed for "having no personality" which I personally think is extremely unfair. One does not have to cry or cheer or go overboard in whatever direction to have a personality. (Jason perhaps take note). He has appeared to be a very well adjusted young man with a great talent for dance and music and fair play to him for that.
