Harry has got a talent as a drummer, worked very hard to improve his dancing on SCD and also turned out to have good manners and be very considerate and gracious.
He is a super role model”

Hear hear. A lovely lad.

Either would have been a worthy winner. Harry happened to pull in more votes.”

This. Good post

Unlike the sad losers in here who are scraping the bottom of the barrel to find something nasty to say about him.

Pathetic!

There are many OAP's like me who had never heard of Harry or McFly before the start of this series.

We voted for him because he was the best dancer, simple as that!

Now we have inverted snobbery, you really are desperate.

I suppose that you would have been happier if he spoke like the TOWIE crowd, and finished every sentence with,
"at the end of the day."

I've never watched the TOWIE crowd so I wouldn't know. I do like my bands to be a bit more 'edgy' though and show a bit of personality.

I assume it's an acronym but I've never seen the programme either.

It seems that anyone daring to criticise Harry on the grounds of a lack of personality is immediately accused of basing their opinion on his middle class roots.

I wonder how these posters would rationalise similar opinions expressed by those with a similar accent, equally comfortable background, or indeed one even more affluent.

Would that be considered as simple, good old fashioned snobbery?

I thought his reaction was lovely, as did the rest of my family.

Me too.

Tom has always been the most popular of the band because he is the lead singer. For quite some time, Harry was the least favourite of many because he was always very hidden.

Frankly, I don't give a damn what kind of family Harry comes from. He just came across as dull. 'Nice' just doesn't do it for me when there's nothing else going on. Matt (di Angelo), Gethin and Tom were quite 'boy next door' - but they all had something else going on: a bit cheeky, a bit flirty ...

Ricky Whittle and Rachel Stevens were slated by some on here - me included - for being short on personality but I always admitted they was technically great. And, for technique, they were streets ahead of Harry. He isn't actually that good a dancer. He got away last night without doing any latin, and his showdance was mediocre.

So I really can't see what all the fuss is about. I wasn't backing any of the finalists last night - there hasn't been a single celeb I've engaged with this year.

The real winner for me has to be McFly's management, which has succeeded in lifting the group's dwindling profile by placing two members in reality televison series. I'm sure their next release will not be overlooked ...

He was a good dancer you have to give him that, but Chelsee far superior and did not have the previous experience he had
A far more worthy winner
However I feel that im a celeb proved that you do not have to do much to win one of these shows if you already have an established fanbase
Both Dougie and Harry equally boring personalities but both with an already guaranteed number of votes the moment they signed up for their shows
As for Chelsee unfortunately for her she was up against it tonight no matter how much better she performed.

Harry nice guy but fortunate to win
Who knows it could be Tom who will now sign up for CBB ”

Do you know how to start a thread that's not negative about guys is more to the point.
