Was she poorly, nervous, sad it was all over but she was really not herself tonight, especially when one compares her to last week?

Timing issues in the jive, shaky legs in the Showdance, lack oomph in the QS. She seemed almost upset throughout.....I kept thinking back to BoobGate and thinking she was similar in behavior to that night.

Poor love as IMHO she was the best all rounder of the final and she just seemed so off colour tonight.

yeah she did not hit top form, i think she was the best dancer coming into the final but she did not deliver and you have to say harry was better on the night

I noticed that something was up, I thought she was mega nervous and her dancing wasn't as sharp as usual - still thought she was fab although Harry deserved to win in the end

She was nervous pure and simple. Harry's more able to contain his nerves. She did well. I voted for her and Pasha ten times in the end. And that's CONSTANT phoning.

I thought she seemed off tonight too.

Agreed that Harry performed better tonight. I wonder whether her age / nerves got the better of her? She was good but not exceptional and seemed off colour, lacking in bounce and cheekiness.

The first few times I phoned for her it was engaged but eventually I got through!

She reminded me of Russell on his Samba week- even when he loved the dance his operation really threw him- and tonight I think Chelsee just collapsed like a flan in a cupboard- but I think she will take a lot from the show and Pasha looks a good commodity to stay for a long time to come

She did seem a bit nervous. She must've known she was up against such a favourite in Harry. She's been the highlight for me in this series. Love her dancing.

She had said several times that she didn't expect to win and had received some not very nice stuff via Twitter apparently do maybe it was all a bit too much for her in the end- she obviously has very low self confidence. Also fancy having to hear all the pro's and celebs on ITT say they want Harry to win!

I thought she was fantastic the entire series and I hope she is really proud of herself.

She looked nervous, I saw her leg shaking just as she started the show dance, I thought for a moment she was going over.

A big ask for her tonight really, when you consider that Harry and Jason have performed in front of thousands plenty of times before.

Not surprised she went a little - Still, in my view she was the most naturally gifted dancer this series.

Unfortunately, Chelsee wasn't on top form tonight -- but I don't think the result would've been any different even if she had been at her best. Harry always had the Glitterball in the bag.

She wasn't on top form tonight. Think nerves must have come into play - even if she didn't really realise it. bless her. She is lovely thought isn't she? Something very likeable about her.

I think nerves got to her. She has always had issues with control, and she lost it tonight. Definitely not on top form. I've not really paid much attention to Harry, and whenever I have, I found him clinical. But best dancer on the night won. Though, I would agree that out of the top 3 that got into the final, Chelsea has probably had a better overall run throughout the series, and and has been the most interesting to watch.

Bless her she was so nervous, but even so she performed outstandingly and she deserves all the praise she got, i love her and pasha!

She reminded me of Matt DA in his meltdown week, although not as catastrophic as that. Unfortunately for Chelsee she picked the finals to have her meltdown night...

Its a pity as personally I thought overall she was the best dancer on Strictly this year.Shes been consistently good up ill now, & I think the reason for underperformance was nerves, pure & simple.

Without a doubt Harrys dancing was excellent tonight, so on that basis he deserved to win.

I think she was both emotional and nervous. She is only young and she is not used to performing in front of live audiences like Harry and Jason.

Exactly. There's always more aspects than just the dancing (or singing or skating or whatever) that sways people's votes on shows like these, and the typical voting demographic is clearly gonna play a big part too.

However good Chelsee could have been tonight, Harry simply had too much going for him outside of just the actual 'dancing' vote.

In the end I think she was a bit overawed. She needed to be supreme tonight in all her dances to catch a big enough wave of public affection to eclipse Harry's fanbase. The Jive wasnt as good as the original and the showdance was too flat .
Harry danced brilliantly and deserved to win, but in truth he wasnt really challenged tonight.

Tremendous series though-well done all concerned.

Adorable. Love her to bits but felt really concerned about her tonight. That aura of something not being quite right came through in waves and Pasha seemed extremely protective and brotherly tonight.....more so than normal.

to be honest i said before the final that it would go the way it went. harry has proven that he can hold his nerve throughout the show and chelsee always seemed a bit vulnerable. so i thoughtt the occasion might be too much for her. but taking that into acccount i thought she did wonderfully. and although i adored both harry's quickstep and argentine tango - i thought that chelsee's rumba was so moving and brilliant.

it's strange, that was why i loved chelsee, for me she was the real winner cos she seemed to really sing with her body (sorry bit sappy!) but when she danced the rumba tonight, it wasn't technically perfect but it was performed with such feeling. i loved it. anyway... great final, three graet finalists, great year of strictly.

I always find her to be very nervous and therefore didnt see anything different tonght, found it off putting tbh.
