Year after year its the show dance that wins it...Tom Chambers Chis Hollins ,, and this year Harry...to clarify i mean who made it to the final two correct me if im wrong but its only recently that the showdance is done before the final two is know..

This year FOR ME..Jason and Harry deserved to be in the final two...Chelsea showdance lost it for her imho only...I was gutted i was so looking forward to her showdance and it just dd not wow me...it was good but it wasnt jaw stopping....and after that it was a obvious who was going to win..Dont get me wrong Im pleased that Harry won he desevered to win ( Brendan should take a few lessons with the marathon lifts..!)

I just think that with a better showdancer Chelsee would have won as her Rumba and quick step were as wow inspiring as Harrys Tango and quickstep..As i dont know the first thing about ballroom dancing but the min i saw the show dances of Tom and Chris i was like thats a winner..so its all int he show dance......I dont know how to end this post Im not happy im not sad im so so ..After the showsdances there was no doubt in my mind who was going to win..( that is after the final two were told..what would the result if Jason and Harry were in the final..!!and hands up i have alway cheered Chelsea name wrong i know sorry bottle of wine drank hick..! )Is it 2012 yet..xx

Jason's was good the other two were poor as per usual with showdances.

Jason's showdance was by far the best received, even on here, Jasehate Central. That he finished 3rd is evidence to me that, actually, it doesn't matter at all. Although I would say that, as it's always been my opinion.

Really don't agree. Jason's was the best by miles!

Chelsee did not look composed in any of her dances, and everybody had too much to learn. The showdance was quite a disappointment, being a predictably vapid concoction of disco and crotchtastic lifts

Tointon did the worst showdance ever and still won. So you are 100% wrong.

Also having a gorgeous Russian stripping for 90 seconds brought me very great joy but it's not really a showdance now, was it?

Harry won the series before the final. The showdances made little difference to the outcome. Jason was always going to finish in 3rd place and though his showdance was very good, the outcome would have been the same had he fallen flat on his face.

Have to agree with that. Both Harry and Chelsee's showdances were below-par.

Then again, the only winner who's ever produced an amazing showdance, in my opinion, was Tom. So usually the winner has it won before the showdance.

what, not even the plucky loser stiff-upper-lip vote? Oh wait, Jason would have introspected every available last drop of the sympathy out of us.

Yep. I thought both Harry's and Chelsee's were rather frantic and boring. The content of Jason's was much better.

I was hoping for but not expecting a Harry versus Jason final.

Personally I generally find the showdances to be a huge letdown. I guess this is why ballroom and latin dances have very defined moves and strict rules - because when anything goes it tends to end up looking a bit of a mess.

I liked Chris'. Given the level of dancing he produced I thought it was definitely was one of his best efforts. Alesha's was alright as well, although she was blowing fumes for most of it.

I liked both of those, but I didn't think they were amazing, and there were points in both where I thought Ola/Alesha was going to fall! I guess what I really meant was that Tom's is the only showdance that has made me go 'wow' and that I've thought was innovative and successful.

Len himself said in Teh Sun
"I find it bizarre that they spend weeks learning ballroom and the waltz then go and do a disco dance"

Its the public picking up the phone and voting who decides the winner. Those of us who follow each week know who we want to win, even if their show dance was not what we expected.

I was disappointed that Len didn't comment on the total lack of ballroom in both Harry's and Chelsee's routines.

Exactly. As another poster earlier also indicated, the winner was already decided before a foot was set on the Blackpool tower floor.
