There seem to be numerous threads bitching and carping, but none simply saying well done to the victors.

I thought they deserved it both on the night and on the series overall. And Harry was lovely- polite, considerate of Chelsee.

Started the evening not minding who won. Ended it delighted that the right couple won.

Yes indeed - many, many congratulations to worthy winners. It was a thoroughly enjoyable final, and I probably enjoyed it all the more for not minding terribly who won it.

In the end, the best dancer won, so who can argue with that?

I agree, so why all the veiled threads from people to try and dampen the spirit?

because this forum only seem capable of posting negaitve things about Aliona hence all the negative threads that are popping up

I didn't know who Harry was at the start if the series, but he was the most gifted dancer and showed such potential from the very first show. The only dancer to demonstrate real swing and sway, rise and fall where needed. It was refreshing not to have someone gushing away needlessly, and to show some natural reserve. Well done Harry and Aliona - the most deserving winners by a mile.

I had no idea who Harry or McFly were, so I voted for him purely on merit.

Many congratulations to Harry & Aliona, even more so as the other two finalists were stiff competition. As I have commented elsewhere, I have not been a Jason fan, but his showdance was the best, IMO.

Yes congratulations to Harry and Aliona, they made very worthy winners.

They had a fair few stand-out dances which I will continue to enjoy watching, particularly their Quickstep, AT, VW and AS.

It's a pity his Latin was quite average He's a worthy winner all the same.

Posting from across the pond, so I just managed to take in the Final now. Harry & Aliona were truly deserving winners. It was a great Final.

I was hoping for a Chelsee/Pasha win, but without a doubt Harry improved over the series and ended up taking the judges notes seriously and showed the improvement. I thought he was stiff and emotionless when he started the series, but he isn't any more.

Plus he's a genuinely nice and humble guy.

I don't feel his winning takes anything away from the accomplishments of the other two couples. For me, they all really ARE winners (even Jason, who had been getting on my nerves until the final). They pulled out an entertaining Final and challenged themselves. I think they exceeded their wildest expectations. You can't buy a life experience like that. (and they were actually paid for it, lucky dogs. )
