James and Ola Jordan, Vincent and Flavia, Natalie Lowe (think that is her name - blonde Australian); Anton and Erin.

Bring back:

Matt Cutler
Ian Waite

Go: Vincent* (so bored of his schtick), Anton* (ditto), Pasha (just seems dull), the Jordans, Katya.

Stay: Flavia, Aliona, Kristina (never thought I'd say that, but she's been outstanding this year), Brendan, Artem and Natalie (notwithstanding her whiplash-inducing posture in hold.

Bring back: Ian, Karen.

* That said, would still want to see pro dances from Vincent and Flavia and Anton and Erin, as they are beautiful to behold.

You would like to see the 2 girls that got to the final go.

Highly unlikely I would think.

Do you not think that if James Vincent Anton go then Ola Flavia & Erin would too.

Ditch:

Anton & Erin - they're not as strong in the Latin, and their ballroom solo a few weeks ago wasn't good either.

Keep:

Aliona - she's earned her stripes over the past couple of years and I personally love her innovative choreography.
Natalie - I love her ballroom choreography and dancing, and she's a great teacher.
Kristina - great choreographer, she deserves another shot at the glitterball with another contender
Flavia - great choreographer and teacher, stunning dancer, one of my favourite pros
Ola - one of my favourite pros, and proven to be good with someone who really shouldn't get as far in the competition as she gets them. Deserves a chance to show what she can do with a contender!
Artem - really impressive couple of series, I'd be interested to see what he can do with a no-hoper - bring on the tour!
Brendan - I've really grown to like him over the past couple of years, and I love his pro partnership with Natalie.
Pasha - great debut, earned a recall.

Borderline:

James - he's started to annoy me this series, although he was lovely when I met him last year. BUT I want Ola to stay, so I guess that means I want James to stay too...

Vincent - I've never been a huge fan, although he's very cute and has been known to make me melt But his pro dances with Flavia are stunning, and I'd be devestated if she wasn't back next year, so I guess I want him to stay too!

Robin - I think he seems like a really nice guy, but I've never been wowed by his dancing or choreography. Would depend on who they'd replace him with - I'd love to see Ian back, and definitely wouldn't want someone similar to Jared...

Katya - I like her, but I've never really enjoyed her choreography or dances with her celeb partner. She and Pasha make a great pro partnership though.

James and Ola have probably already outstayed their welcome on the show.

The fact that Ola won with Chris Hollins may have given them a reprieve. James in particular is always so bitter and turns it into a bit of an X Factor spat, which SCD does not want or need.

Anton is another who is long in the tooth, his Latin dance is weak and if he is always destined to get the 'comedy' act that also is wearing thin.

I was disappointed with the cull of the likes of Ian, Matthew and Brian, their replacements including Jared and Robin were not additions who had a big impact, Jared being ousted after one year.

Artem last year and Pasha this year though have been pure revelations, and really are exciting additions. The Russians seem to have the edge, top four this year all had Russian pros.
i think the time would be perfect for Ian and Mathew to return, i do feel Vincent and Flavia could do with a "rest" for at least one series, darren and lillia could make a welcome comeback also!!

I would remove James, Ola, Robin and Kristina from the show, and bring back Ian Waite. I would then bring in three new dancers, in the form of Anya Garnis (who has partnered Pasha before), Maxime Deremyez (a French pro and Salsa expert) and Katrina Patchett (who is Maxime's professional partner and has worked on both the Australian and French DWTS)

That leaves us with a line-up of

Anton Du Beke & Erin Boag
Brendan Cole & Katya Virshilas
Vincent Simone & Flavia Cacace
Maxime Deremyez & Katrina Patchett
Artem Chigvintsev & Aliona Vilani
Ian Waite & Natalie Lowe
Pasha Kovalev & Anya Garnis

Personally, I think the pros should be 'rested' if they don't win after, say, three series after joining.

Remove Anton, James, Ola, Robin & Erin.

I would bring back lovely Matt & equally lovely Ian in a heartbeat - their experience and their great choreography are sorely missed.

I agree with that. They could start by reinstating Ian, Matthew and Darren.

That doesn't make much sense if they constantly get given no-hopers though - under your logic Kristina wouldn't have taken part this year, yet this was the first year she had a chance to get to the final.

Katya should stay. Remember how she got some sembalance of a personality out of the Gavbot last year. Like to see her get someone really talented
Katya has had Phil Tuffnell, Gavin Henson and Dan Blob - all she needs is a partner with a semblance of a brain and you will see her blossom cos shes top notch.

Who i think should go...

Ola and James - His bad boy act is just wearing thin, they need a new bad boy to shake it up. As for Ola, i just found her choreography lacking, and repetitive (though this could be due to the partners), and she has already won it.

Vincent - His Mr Smooth act is just getting very boring, and to be honest just seems stupid now you have had a younger crop coming in. However, Flavia i still think has another series or two in her (choreography wise).

Anton and Erin: Anton just cant do Latin, and he is becoming a parody, trying to be bigger than the celebrity. As for Erin, i just believe that her role has now been taken over by Natalie.

Also i would say, don't bring back any past dancers. I just think if you brought back Ian etc they would just look so out of it now, and too old school, its a different show now.

I'm sad so many people want Anton out - why don't they give him a decent partner so we can at least see him at his best? On the other hand, Artem's choreography didn't suit Holly this year (excepting the tango and the swan lake dance) but he was very good last year, so I'm not sure if I'd keep him. Definitely keep Aliona and Kristina - I love their choreography.

We got Pasha though - for years he'd been hotly tipped to join DWTS but was never signed.[/url]
I heard that he was offered a contract by both DWTS and SCD, but chose SCD instead?

I would be interested to hear which pro dancers DS members would like to see replaced next series!!

I think think they should do as they do in the American series, "rest" the pros, and let them return at a later series.

For me James, Anton, Vincent, Flavia and Antons partner (forget her name) could all be doing with a "rest".
Vincent & Flavia are brilliant.

Two words: Laila Rouass. They got to the quarter finals in Series 8 but it was painful at times to see him choreograph and execute the Latin. I remember Craig chiding him at the time for holding her back with a poor samba routine and I'm still convinced Laila bailed on the rumba with her 'injured' foot. Can you seriously imagine him with a Holly Valance or a Chelsee?

However, I do feel he has a role to play (as does Erin) in partnering the more mature celebs.

Cant believe people want Vincent to go!

He & Flav come as a pair, he goes, she goes!

I dont like his lothario act either, but I think he needs to be given a shot next year as he hasnt had a contender since series 4 & if he has another go at getting the Glitterball people might re-connect with him a bit more.

Anton should go- hes done 9 series, hes 45, significantly older than the rest of the pros, & his dancing is really poor on some occasions (hard to tell who's the professional on some dances!)

Him leaving would prob spell the end for Erin too, which is sad, but tbh, I dont really notice her in the show much.

For those wanting ex-pro's back: dream on! NEEEEEVER gonna happen. As another has posted, any newbies will be younger dancers.
