Patsy is a middle aged woman attractive though she still is in addition to which she's also a mother and was working on I think on Holby when she was a contestant on SCD - her private life was also a bit of mess so her confidence was fragile - I distinctly remember her saying Robin had only had 3 hours to teach her salsa because of her work commitments on Holby and yes I know Chelsee was working on Waterloo Road when she was on SCD but she's young free and single and naturally talented- if you watch Patsy's salsa again perhaps you'll see what a good job he did showcasing her in the limited time he had with her during that week - he took her to past the half way point in the contest which for new pro which he was at the time with nervous contestant is pretty good, They went out on the week she had a leg injury. If you remember back to Aliona's first year in SCD she crashed out of the contest early because of her dodgy choreo despite being given a youngish, good looking contestant in Rav Wilding and people were writing her off as both a choreographer and teacher yet she was still given a chance by the producers.

As for 'not doing a good job' on Anita's leg placement - for all we know like Tim's already tried to argue he did try and teach her but she wasn't able to pick up or forgot due to nerves during performances - Harry's hands were not sorted out right up to the finals - Does that mean Aliona is a bad teacher?

Both Patsy and Anita have spoken highly of him so obviously he has no problem bonding with his celeb partners - I think it would be shortsighted of the producers to get rid of him - he's actually done better than Brendan has with his celebs for the past two years - I'd love to see what he'd be able to do if he was given someone naturally talented like Chelsee or Kara Tointon.

you know I am allowed to dislike someone's choreography and not think he is a good teacher without having hoards of his fans writing reams of prose in support of the person

yes Aliona in the fact that she did not sort out Harrys hands was not a good teacher

are you really saying that a fit 42 year old mother could never win Strictly ? So many wrong things in that statement it doesn't bear thinking about

I really hate this practicse of only being able to justify your liking for Robin by putting down others in the above paragraph you have chosen to put down Patsy, Anita , Aliona and Harry to show that Robin is worthy of a chance to get a good partner ( whom I believe he had in Patsy) .

Do you really want Robin to succeed so much that everyone he has danced with and every other SCD proffessionla has to be shown to be worse than him ?

I have said my bit now and will not respond again

Oh for crying out loud! I think your missing the point of forums if you can't stand having your views challenged - although it seems you have know problem having a go at posters who like Robin and for the record I like him but I'm not a fan of his - I just think he should be given a chance as other pros have!

And where have I put Patsy, Aliona and Anita down? I've just stated facts about them and no I wasn't saying a 42 year old mother couldn't win Strictly - I've actually started a thread in which I said I wanted a 40+ winner in SCD one day! I said in my post a middle aged mother with a heavy work schedule who'd just had major personal problems and was by her own admission very nervous was not likely to be a contender or as 'potentially good' as you were suggesting she was!

Wonder if any of the females will become "unavailable" due to having to have PIP implants replaced ???

I would imagine a pro dancer would be more at risk than women with other jobs (like Wags or glamour bimbos).

Let's hope all our love lady dancers are safe. I'm staggered by the numbers who have been given the dodgy implants. Don't these doctors research the type of material they're using or is just the cheapest and therefore they use it? Actually, 'doctor' is maybe not the word because if they were decent doctors they would use conselling as well for their clients and Chelsee, particularly at her young age, would have been advised that by all means have implants, but keep them proportiionate to your body size and shape. If she doesn't have them reduced, she will have back problems later and will have to stay completely in shape for the rest of her life or she will look matronly. And looking at her original jive agains last night, she is such an enthusiastic boisterous character and those silly things stuck on her front make her look old before her time.
