There is no official news on GD. His Specialist is back tomorrow; the hospital staff got the info they gave us wrong, you would actually think they would know when Specialist staff resume after the Xmas break but obviously not . So hopefully we will hear from him tomorrow. Nursing staff cannot convey the info onto us as they are not high enough up evidently.

Thanks for the update Wendy. Hopefully you will find out more tomorrow.

Hugs and best wishes to Wendy and her family. We are having a special xmas mass for our 100 year old aunt on Thursday so looking forward to that - every day from now on is a bonus for us with her - she is my dads only direct living relative

She's not a robot she's a human being and as much as you can try and ignore hate/haters the amount and relentless nature of the stuff that's been flung at or about Josie over the last 7 months would affect even the strongest of people to some extent. She presents this tough exterior to the world and she is resiliant and a survivor but there's a reason she builds walls 10 feet thick around her heart as a way of protecting herself against those who may seek to do her/it harm because she's the only one who truly knows how vunerable it is or can be.


If people are constantly taking the piss out of or trying to tear you down by attacking your looks of course that's going to affect you. The person who said 'stick and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me' was an idiot, cruel and hurtful words can stay with you long past the time it takes for bruises to heal or bones to mend, any kind of abuse physical or emotional is still abuse. John claims not to give a rip about what people think but look how he reacted to all the crabeyes stuff, to being called a little midget bullfighter at school by the cool/mean girls, look at how Josie reacted to all the taunts/comments by Sammy/Dave/John with regards to her weight. Look how insecure it made them both feel, how self concious.

People are so focused on looks/appearance/image these days, wow she/he's beautiful/handsome/fit I wish I looked like them if I buy this product or that outfit or go to this place maybe I can be beautiful/handsome too? jeez look how ugly/fat/weird looking they are pmsl! guess I'm not so bad after all I'm better than them anyhow celebrity culture is all about putting people on pedestals then trying to knock them off and make them just as ordinary as us how many magazine pieces about this star or that in unflattering shots showing celulite, spots, bad hair days etc etc

It's one thing I never admired much about either John or Josie, how much attention they gave to their own and other peoples looks. It was a sign of their insecurities and created a lot of misunderstandings and unecessary hurt between them.

John tweeted BEFORE the article was posted up on the internet. I know some are claiming he had prior knowledge of the article but I doubt that's true. Why? well for one unless the laws changed since May there's no legal requirement for magazines to pre-notify celebs about stories coming out about them

Would an editor pre-notify a celeb in order to beef up a story, make it more balanced? sure if the content of the piece was newsworthy enough they might, or alternatively if they wanted to keep the celeb on side because at some future point they may want to do articles/interviews with them but can't really see either of those things applying in this case can you? the article wasn't about John, it was a throwaway dig at an ex who she parted from on less than friendly terms ie he was a shit bf who I don't want any contact with, hardly earth shattering stuff is it

He's shown he doesn't WANT to do anything. As far as he's concerned if people are slating her for throwing a vase, choking someone, using a taser she's brought that on herself, it's nothing to do with him, he has no control over that, not my problem, I've had death threats, deal with your own shit I've had to deal with mine!

He's right upto a point because she is responsible and accountable for the things she says and does

But....

she isn't just dealing with the things she says and does though is she, she's also having to defend herself against the things he's said, implied or introduced into the mix too like the vase throwing and choking comments, was he being serious or just being an arse because he was ticked off? that's been his MO for a while though, drop a few hints/comments here or there, post a few lyrics, put up a video to imply certain stuff and some of his fans pick it up and run with it, in other words he loads their guns with the bullets and they shoot them on his behalf. Some of Josie's fans are just as bad as they pick up the comments she makes in the press and do exactly the same. The difference is Josie's on twitter regularly so the hate never stops, John these days just comes in for some of it when he makes the odd reappearance every now and again.


Sam did. Sam didn't stop laying into Josie because he suddenly became fond of her he did it because he looked up to John and John wasn't laughing at him anymore he was ticked off instead, it had gone too far and John was getting grief because of it. There's a lesson for the haters in there somewhere but I doubt they'll heed it.

If John truly was all the things people heap praise on him for whether or not Josie is someone he cares about anymore or not he would want the hate that's carried out in his name to stop. The fact that he apparently doesn't is disappointing.

I loved the John we knew from BB but like you i am very disapointed that he seems to have become everything he said he wasn't lately.
Dont know why he seems to have this hatred for Josie.
Is it his pride thats been hurt (and he is very proud)
Is it because he loves her still or what.
I am Baffled by him.

Just to balance this at times i have been very dissappointed
with Josie too.
She abounds with sympathy but lacks empathy.
Also her defences shoot up if someone says anything
remotely critical of her.

In short they BOTH need to take constructive critisism
on the chin.
By that i DONT mean the sort of critisism that haters dish out.

If they could only show a united front to the haters be they loys or muckers
i think a lot of it would stop.
Wont stop haters entirely as some are neither loys or muckers.

Here's hoping.
I dont like being dissappointed in either of them.
I love them despite everything.
As it should be.
