Strictly Champion of Champions

Here is an idea.......

We have had 9 series of Strictly

No Professional has won twice (although some have come pretty close)

How amazing would it be to see all 9 winners compete against each other for the ultimate glitterball?

Yes - I realise some celebs probably would refuse as would some pros but wouldnt it be an amazing show?

You mean like for series 10, or maybe after series 10 they have a champion of champions SCD?

If they do it then I'd rather they do a champion of champions series, and not just 1 show, so the champions get to do more than just 1 dance (which I guess would be their most memorable dance)

I have always thought this would be a great idea. But with Alesha on the judging panel it seems less than likely it'll ever happen.

Not to mention the excommunication of Lilia lol.

When they used to bring back previous couples for the Christmas show, that made for double winners I guess. Jill & Darren, the series 2 winners, also won the Christmas show that they did.

It's be interesting to see how previous winners coped with the new dances and/or the Props Explosion. The thought of Kerplunk doing a Charleston fills me with an equal mix of dread and hilarity.

Many celebs enhanced their prestige and earning power after winning Strictly, so they would not like to risk finishing up as bottom of 9 champions. Also SCD1 winner is now 8 years older than when winning compared to SCD9 winner, so anno domini would not favour her.

9 Champions Gala will never happen, with too many having too much to lose. However fans can give marks in a virtual championship across space and time.

Please copy and paste the table below, then post reply giving marks out of 10 for each of 5 performance categories (and any more at your suggestion), replacing A B C D E. A time-filler until the Xmas show ? Compliments to Olive for the original idea .

A - Artistry and musicality
B - Dance movement mastery
C - Ballroom/latin versatility and range
D - Rapport with partner and audience
E - Personal beauty and appeal

A - B - C - D - E - TOTAL OF 5 - Natalie Kaplinsky
A - B - C - D - E - TOTAL OF 5 - Jill Halfpenny
A - B - C - D - E - TOTAL OF 5 - Darren Gough
A - B - C - D - E - TOTAL OF 5 - Mark Ramprakesh
A - B - C - D - E - TOTAL OF 5 - Alesha Dixon
A - B - C - D - E - TOTAL OF 5 - Tom Chambers
A - B - C - D - E - TOTAL OF 5 - Chris Hollins
A - B - C - D - E - TOTAL OF 5 - Kara Tointon
A - B - C - D - E - TOTAL OF 5 - Harry Judd
