This weekend is going to be a healthy mixture of beer, football and Gravity Rush - which Amazon tells me is on its way to me even now.

Pretty much the same for me, getting a new bed and cabinet for my bedroom though so unfortunately for me, my weekend won't be quite as good as yours

On the subject of Gravity Rush - I've played the demo and found the combat controls quite clunky, and every review I've read says the same, to a greater or lesser degree.
Now that some of you guys have it, any thoughts? I love the look of the game, and apart from the combat side I loved everything else about the demo, but I don't want to splash out on a full price game if it's going to be spoilt by clunky combat... |

I have now played the first five episodes, as the game calls them, and love the game. It is like a game version of Spirited Away. The missions require you to use lateral thinking more than the bull in a china shop method. The first three episodes/missions were simple and easy to teach you the moves. The fourth one was where the game started in earnest, the fifth mission was just plain bonkers and left a smile on my face.
As for the combat is pretty easy once you get your head around it. With the little Nevi just the usual kick them on the ground method will suffice. With the larger ones dodge their attacks - they charge like bulls, then float, aim and perform a flying kick. Once you get in the habit of dodge, float, aim, kick then drop to ground you can master combat easily. It is also an idea to ignore the option to use the touchscreen to swerve just use the analogue stick as per every other game. If a gaming idiot like me can begin to master it then anyone can! There is also a side mission, which you can choose to play or not, where you basically get to fight the nevi for gems and is essentially a training ground for combat. |

Thanks jc - still unsure whether I'll get it, though I'm a bit reassured about the combat. Too many games still to be completed apart from anything else. Talking of which....
Could do with some help on Mutant Blobs Attack!!! (got it in the sale, and loving it!) - I'm up to level 23, so pretty near the end, and I seem to have run into a brick wall. I've got past the first section with the laser that follows you, and am into the underwater bit. I'm stuck in the area where (as far as I can tell) I need to go up, and there are walls of lasers with a gap too big to do the normal wall jumping thing. What am I missing:??? |

Started playing this one yesterday.
Nice idea, gravity-shifting around the city. Levels are very well designed, nice anima/comic book feel to it. Takes a while getting used to the gravity shifting though...there are lots of gems and power-ups hidden around the city, and often underneath the city itself, but when shifting around underneath the city or on the sides of walls, you can sometimes find yourself plunging to oblivion, and it can be difficult getting back topside again. But I am enjoying it, I like the concept of the game introducing various aspects of the game as you go along, such as combat, shifting techniques and stealth. |

Thinking of getting a Vita soon, I was wondering can someone tell me how much the Vita games cost to download through the store?

It varies really, reguler games cost from £39.99 to £29.99 and some games are discounted like Modnation Racers is now £11.99 which is quite a good deal |

As well as the full price games there are the cheaper (and, for me, some of the best) games - Escape Plan which I've been banging on about since launch, and Mutant Blobs Attack!!! which I got on sale last week and is also brilliant are both well under a tenner. They're not as long as the big ticket games but some of the gameplay is sublime.
I've played those two more than anything else on the Vita, and (admittedly thanks to deals) they cost me less than £10 between them. The system itself ain't cheap, for sure, but there are bargain games for it... |

There are some good offers going around at the moment.
I am hoping we get a deal on virtua tennis 4 this week - to tie in with wimbledon. I have heard good things about that. Played a fair bit of Gravity Rush over the weekend. I am really enjoying it. The controls for movement work really well when you get used to them. The ground based combat is fine, the combat against floating enemies is tricky, but I am getting better at it (mainly by throwing stuff at them!) The art and music are fantastic and the game world is really well realised. It is a fun game to explore. The story seems decent and the comic book cut scenes are great, having the player flick through them is a nice touch. |

Now that I've deleted everything, any advice on the best place to sell the Vita, I could sell it privately but what would be the best (fairest) price to ask for it? All I have is the Vita, Uncharted and 16GB card. Any ideas of how much Gamestation would offer for that? TIA |

Since the price hasn't dropped much and you were to advertise I'd go for about £170-£180 if it's in mint, as new condition. |

Few people selling there Vita's and i've got a question why they bought if they are so ready to give up on it
In the past i've had Ps3, xbox 360, wii, gamecube, xbox, psp gameboy advance and of course vita within a few months of them launching and the lesson i've learned after all this is there are usually very few, if any, classics within 12 months of it launching, its best to be patient, do you really to of spent £200+ on a vita to sell it for about £150 and then in a year when there are some amazing games buy another one |
