For me, there is no value in selling it now.

At the moment only LBP and Call of Duty interest me in terms of future games being released. But it will clearly pick up in the future, just needs time like every other platform before it.

The potential shown in games like Uncharted and FIFA show that it won't be going away anytime soon.

As for now, I will just stick to my IPad for gaming on the go.

You should all think about importing Zero Escape: Virtues Last Reward in October. It will only be released in America like the first game for it was.

If you never played 9 hours, 9 persons, 9 doors on the DS then you really missed out. Its a superb visual novel with some puzzle elements.

It has 24 different endings compared to the previous game which has about 6 I think. PlayAsia has it for pre-order at £28 though delivery will cost a few pounds unless you want to pay more.

damn where is the sony support? why will third parties care when they see the machine bombing hard and then they see Sony doing nothing for it.

I all,

Can anyone recommend a good story based game ala uncharted? i'm nearly at the end of it (really enjoying it) and want another big game to get my teeth into when i complete it.

I have a voucher for game that expires on friday so would like to get one by then.

What is Unit 13 like? also is gravity rush any good?

Ta

Both are good. Gravity Rush is story driven in a similar way to other open world games of this generation but Unit 13 isn't really story driven.

Unit 13 has quite a lot of content (singular missions with multiple objectives) but it is mainly score chasing and ranking up the different characters over the many missions.

Gravity Rush... you just have to play it. It won't change your outlook on life but it's pleasant and has great music.

Thanks!

Think i'll give gravity rush a go

Well my PS3 has gone kaputt so the Vita will be my only gaming machine for a long while. Can't afford to buy a new one or the cost of repair. it is a shame because it was a launch day PS3

May have to look at the PS Store for the first time and what I can get for the Vita.

It's sad to see it doing so badly. It's such great bit of hardware however Sony need to turn this around. They totally screwed up at E3, hopefully they can make up for it at gamescom.

Some PSP games compatible with Vita on sale in the summer sale including GTA which is a bargain at £4

I'm spending more and more of my leisure time resource on the ever evolving and immersive Vita. As some of you know Golf is my number one console genre choice, with E-Golf currently the chief on PS3. But I spend much, much more time on the very impressive PS Vita version. Speaking of which, if they ever release a competent and Vita worthy PGA Tour game, I'd barely be on PS3! Exceptional product.

Regarding Golf titles. I'd highly recommend the quite superb PSP version of EG2. Looks very much at home on the Vita's OLED5. Top graphics, six beautifully realised courses and features EG's pleasantly familiar fun and challenging gameplay. Loading is rapidity personified. Tremendous full screen upscaled title this one, and at just 7 quid on PSN is a profound bargain.

A couple of decent Vita deals over on PSN from Wednesday 8th.. StarDrone Extreme for just £1.99. Then we have the A-Men available at £7.99 from £11.99. The latter has an additional 20% off for Plus members.

A-Men looks fairly useful. A quirky, puzzler platform lark. Played the demo but thought 12 quid was a little steep. But at under 7, this one is a download.

Wasn't sold on A Men from the demo I played - but that is a good price. I think I will hang fire until Sound Shapes next week though.

I would recommend Pinball Arcade to any Vita owners out there though. I am stupidly addicted to that at the moment - perfect 'gaming on the go' fodder. Theatre of Magic is an amazing table.

The guy responding to comments on the store update on the EU Blog keeps referencing Gamescon in response to questions about Vita functionality (PS1, remote play and applications etc.) So hopefully we will hear some news on these at the sony conference. I was kind of worried they would do an E3 and forget about it!!

Another couple of excellent PSP to Vita translations here and both coming in at well under a tenner. Innocent Life @ 3.69 and Harvest Moon - Hero of Leaf Valley @ 4.94. Graphics are sharp, vivid and look great upscaled on the Vita's OLED. Both titles feature timeless and addictive mini empire building gameplay and loading is Usain like. Just 400 MB will be debited from your Mem card so no hardships there either. Both are very highly recommended additions to your Vita collection.

Yep, looking forward to this one. I think! If implemented well the remote play would be a very beneficial feature. Hopefully also we'll be privy to some details regarding titles, apps and Sony's longer term plan for the Vita.

JSR

The hugely popular Sega Dreamcast title Jet Set Radio will hit the Vita on October 16. Personally it's not my type of lark but it should look fantastic on the Vita's OLED.

An earlier launch for the PS3 however, with Plus members getting to savour it's delights on September 11. 'Mere mortals' get to purchase a week later. JSR launches with a $10 price tag according to form, 7.99 over here perhaps.

COD looks terrible.

Looks like the DS version.

It is using Black Ops 1 guns, sounds, textures and looks like a hugely dumbed down version.

Only 4v4 online too.

I thought it looked fantastic, what you have to remember is the PS Vita is not a PS3 and it will never be up the standards of a PS3

And yet DS are saying its a near-perfect recreation of the console version

Anyway, really looking forward Tearaway. Overall, a good positive showing for Vita in my opinion.

Here is the trailer shown, DS version is a bit harsh but it looks trash.
