Vita sales rot halted...
The latest Japanese figures show sales up a few hundred, which while not much is better than them plummeting further.
The second round of games come out next week, so it should edge back up, but really needs some killer game to appear pronto. |

Poor Sony, it's a repeat of the DS/PSP all over again. On the plus side, at least the homebrew side of things is going well unlike the shitty arrogant hackers of the PS3 scene who did nothing except create piracy and law suits, a coder on the PSP Scene has been re-working a PSP exploit that works on the Vita allowing it to run quite a decent batch of Homebrew titles, including many well known emulators, and it can't be exploited to run pirated Vita games! Now that's doing things right!

Pre-ordered this yesterday. I opted for the cheaper Wi-Fi version. I am hoping to buy FIFA along with it, as it's the only launch title that I like the look of, and at least I know I'll get a great game.
Already saved up £90. If I add the pre-order, that's £115. I lent my brother £40. Probably keep a tenner for myself, so adding £30, makes it £145. That leaves me to save £84. Plus ,£45 for FIFA. Shall be tough going. |

Is Toys R Us the cheapest as the 3G I pre-ordered on Game is £30. Even if I take into account the cashback I will earn and the Game Reward Points, I will still be saving £10. How are they for delivery? Would I receive this on the day of release?
I was unsure about getting the 3G version but for £259.99 I don't mind |

I found this manual for PS Vita. You may have seen it already but it is useful and confirms that the GPS is only on the 3G/Wi-Fi model, which has definitely made me choose that one. I was unsure that GPS was only on this model and saw conflicting articles. Also, I have not read all the posts in this thread, so it may have been mentioned here. There are also other useful details
Here's the link: http://manuals.playstation.net/docum.../location.html |

I am trying to work out if you need a 3G card or not for the GPS to work. It would appear that Google Maps is included

Another jjesso post I need a translator to understand. The point I was making is that you are always pointing the finger at me on these forums calling me a fanboy and suchlike, yet when I stoop to that level ONCE and say the same back to you, you cry about it and get annoyed at being called one. That tickled me yes, it seems you don't like the taste of your own medicine.

Please explain how my post expressed anger and annoyance or implied I was crying ? ''I was trying to explain that on other page however got pegged fanboy'' I mean look at the first page you took simple comparison and turned into angry debate, what message do you think that gives to people on here ? Your just jumping to conclusion yet again. I don't cry at your ridiculous comments, I'm like many just laugh at them, I especially don't get annoyed at them. |

I've been reading that the scheme Sony had in operation in Japan to download games that they had on UMD on their PSPs for a small price has been scrapped in the USA & no doubt Europe too. This will mean that any games they want will need to be bought again off the store.
