The Christmas chart is not for another week, so if anyone said anything about Xmas no. 1, they're talking bollards.

Were you listening to the Big Top 40 Show? They would've had Military Wives at #1 this week.

It seems confusing, but most people chose the Military wives over Little Minx on the Big Top 40 Chart.... I would say the true picture is ITUNES.. I think the Offical chart could soon be pushed out if this continues?

Band Aid - Do They Know It's Christmas was at 39, Wizard - Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday 34 and Wham- Last Christmas was 28. on the Big Top 40.

Wham - Last Christmas 28 , Wizard - Wish it Could Be Christmas 31 and Slade - Merry Christmas Everybody 37 on the Radio 1 Offical chart. No Band Aid? or Military Wives enteries?

They will be No.1 next Sunday though as they're top of I-Tunes and the CD is flying off shelves.

Simple explanation. The Official Chart, as revealed by Radio 1, only takes in sales up to midnight Saturday and Military Wives wasn't available util Sunday. It will be No.1 on the chart released Xmas Day.

I hope they get it. They deserve more than those little mix of sh!t slappers.
The Military Wives are singing for a real reason, to support our soldiers, slappers r us are only singing to make themselves and Simon Cowell money.

A song for personal profit or one for a good cause? Its not a hard choice. Just because they won X Factor doesn't mean they should get the christmas no.1. It used to mean something before Cowell started buying it!

By the same token just because of their husbands job doesn't mean certain other people should get the Christmas number 1.

Once upon a time Christmas number one was about most popular song now it appears to be the reward for the most successful campaign, be it a six month advert on ITV or a however many part show on the BBC.
People used to be able to buy records without tv shows telling them. In fact Top of the Pops content was based on what the public bought. Changes days.

I doubt it midweeks state LM have sold a paltry 38K while MWC have sold 247,00 in two days, LM could not manage that in a whole week.

I love the Dominic Donkey song ,wicked and catchy and Christmassy as well..

It would be nice for it to get to number 1, though if it comes in second it will at least push those minxy girls down further.

It was number 3 in the midweek chart but could see it rising to number 2 given the buzz around it on Radio 1.

Would love to know how much LM sold in their first week, compared to how much the MW sold this week.
