Yes he had a time frame to stick to as it was live but he was not angry he just had to move things on and did it with his humour.

Definitely against replacing Bruce, he is an important asset to the show. I seem to post this every year, lol. It's a peculiar aspect of internet forums, like this one, that we get a lot of negativity posted about TV shows that we supposedly like, but want to change! Sir Bruce appears to trip over his words when reading from the autocue and his jokes are dire (it's like watching my dad on primetime television). However, when he's required to ad lib there's hardly anyone better in the business to adapt to a situation.

Personally, I'd like to see Graham Norton take over the show; especially now his Andrew Lloyd Webber shows have seemingly left the channel. But we could have worse than what we have already.

I doubt very much that Bruce will retire next year as it's not only the 10th series but also his 70th year in show business which is a fantastic achievement (he started at the age of 14). I suspect he will do next year and then retire as he's obviously finding it difficult to even read the autocue properly and he won't wear an earpiece so Tess has to prompt him.

Personally I can't stand him and fast forward through his "jokes" but I do admire his stamina in keeping going for so long. If he bows out gracefully after the 70th year in show business celebrations - including a show at the Royal Albert Hall, then I won't complain. After all, he's got his knighthood now so there's really no reason to keep going except for his own ego. It will be if he decides to keep on going after next year that I'll really get cross!!!

He's completely past it. He really ought to quit before he embarrasses himself anymore. If he doesn't quit the BBC should do it for him.

I've never been a fan of Alesha. I would prefer someone who knows about dancing to be a judge, rather than someone who's knowledge is just through being a celeb on the show.

Eaxctly , a good reason to have her there . Three professionals and a former contestant who knows what the contestants are going through which is why we often see her marking slightly higher as she is marking on her opinion and how hard she knows a person worked.

Keep. I don't mind that he's a bit crap. Occasionally he's funny and he is the only thing standing between us and the rising tide of yoofs running onto the stage to celebrate too early, and stuff like that. I'd rather get rid of the script writer. She's the one who makes him look bad. Thank heavens he fluffs some of the lines or we'd be left with The Lines. (Though I wonder if it's written down each time that he has to tell everyone to sit down, and then to stand up, and all that malarkey??)

No I think he's a great host and it feels right with him presenting it now. It wouldn't be the same without him.
