You idiot!! How the hell can you put Verity through instead of Lloyd??? Simon's only stupid excuse is that Verity "really wants this", huh , well they all want it Simon!! Lloyd wants it too & has the credibility to prove that he deserves to be in the final 3!
Verity might want it alright but she's only an ok singer or haven't you heard her sing properly because you're too much taken in by her sob story & her endless crying & pity me look expression???

I just think it was a mistake to exclude a bloody good singer with a likeable personality and instead put through a contestant who's bland through and through!

It is probably because Lloyd is bigger than the rest and imon has a soft spot for Verity. Lloyd would have been a far better choice, Verity is just a sob story.

I don't know why that is! I think that she has a very weak voice.

I still don't think that she should have got through, don't get me wrong, she was good in bits of it, but just not good enough for the final!

Sorry I'm joining in the Verity bashing but you guys are DEAD RIGHT!!!
Verity is a just a 'sob story',and IMO not even a passable singer.
Firstly does anyone think it strange that since we've had the "My nasty husband stopped me signing to two record labels" guff we've heard not a word from the mysterious husband?
I didn't believe a word from day one and nothing thus far has changed my mind on Verity.
At Chez PIV we were watching last nights show, and when Verity was talking to KT,Kate said something about "wow out of 50,000 entrants you made the last 9...."Verity replied tearfully "I wonder why?" Everyone in the room at C-PIV shouted back at the telly,"Bu**ered if we know either!!"
The big "voice coach" lad Lloyd had IMO miles more talent for singing and a much warmer personality too,big mistake Simon....like the thread says WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?

I felt really sorry for Lloyd. He totally didn't deserve to go out. Real shame.

i think verity is dreadful, but both lloyd and odis have a good hcance to make something of themselves outside of the competition!

Maybe that's what he's planning after the X factor is over.
Alot of things Simon Cowell may but first and foremost he's a businessman.

I really hope Simon won't be signing Odis. There is no doubt that he can sing, but really his voice is nothing special. I wouldn't want to buy his records.

I didn't like Odis. He was a stunning beautiful man, but I found him horribly nasal.

Says it all when Simon said he'd sign him.

Odis had a pleasant voice but no personality. There was nothing outstanding at all about him.

It's got a sweetness to it that I like. I can see where you're coming from but I like that sweetness.

I couldn't agree with you more!! What a disgrace, honestly - Simon's pathetic reasoning of "I have to go with who the British public would want to see in the top 3...and Lloyd, it's not you" (well not quite, but words to that effect) had me and my family almost shouting at the telly in disgust!

What on earth makes Simon think that someone like Verity whose frankly weak voice - which I would describe at the most as 'pleasant' on a charitable day - compares to the excellent Lloyd?? It was truly our loss.

The sad thing is that I think Simon will win it anyway (personally I reckon it has to come down to Rowetta or Steve) but with Lloyd on his team, he would have had a cracking three to present to the public. As it is, he now has two extremely talented singers and one very weak one, who appears to have coasted through to the public vote on the back of Simon's 'soft spot' for her

I like Steve, and when he and Lloyd sang together i loved it, they go really well together, both seemed to love what they do, both have expressive faces and smile. Makes a change from all the crying.
