Ashanti is back with her new single!
Ashanti is backkkkk! Her new single is called 'The Woman You Love' and it features Busta Rhymes.
It is already released in the USA. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stTElLeBdQ4&ob=av2n I think it is alright, a little predictable, hoping she would come back with something comepletely new! But this isn't it. though it is still good, it has a good beat and I like her voice on it. Hope the video will be amazing. Here is the cover art: http://cdn.hiphopmusicdotcom.com/wp-...rk-580x580.jpg - that is smoking! |

I actually liked her new song
I think it has a great memorable melody and nice drums.Cliche lyrics and weak vocals aside, this is actually a great song.Busta Rhymes' verse was a huge disappointment, though.Just awful ![]() And tbh I didn't want her to come back with something new.I wanted her to come back with a throwback to her heyday and she kind of did so!

Hmm... I cannot seem to understand what has happened to her, Amerie and Ciara. They just are not producing the hits that they became known for, is it really that hard?

^^^Amerie has been experimenting with new sounds since her 3rd album and Ciara had label issues which are now not an obstacle and she's ready to come back in mid-2012 with the help of L.A.Reid

I actually do like it now. It has grown on me.
I think the video could be good if she plays it right. |

It's a good tune, the kind of song that will become a casual commercial hit for a while. However, that's also a slight downside as it's not the kind of great memorable song that I would have expected at her peak, and sort of seems like the whole point of this song is the sales rather than the music. It might grow on me enough to reconsider that judgement though.
