Had to laugh at his van comments. He dispensed with that band of his really quickly too. A serious rock musician wouldnt come within a million miles of a show like X-Factor. I expect Simon will want to be seen as cool and will end up calling Tabby "cutting-edge" and the sort of thing the youth of today are crying out for. I just wonder how long into the series, or indeed a song, before Tabby kicks a stool out from under him. Like so Rock n Roll like.

Singing is only a part of whats needed, Tabby has not got the xfactor.

I dont rate Tabby as much as some in the final. He's near the bottom of my list. Having said that, he does have an appeal for some, I can see why Sharon just chose him over Andy eventually. She could have gone for Andy, the safer option, but I think she took a chance and well done to her for that, especially as she really liked Andy as well. However, the standard overall is so high that I dont think he'll last more than a couple of weeks or so.

Sure - I just hope that Tabby doesn't look completely out of his depth and mess up big time on Saturday. I'm hoping he's great for Sharon's sake as much as anything. If he's mauled by Simon et al she's going to feel awful. Well if he's pants, I guess I'll be hiding under the desk for some time. Best get some supplies in!!

think about it though, if you took apart many of the bands that have graced our ears then u'll probably find a lot of them weren't that great at singing - but with a band and instruments and a decent song they have become a success.

I agree vocal talent isn't the only requirement for The X Factor, but Tabby has already caught the public's attention, caused grief for Sharon and got hundreds of people talking about him.

If he hasn't got The X Factor then y go to the trouble of discussing him.

I'm not saying he's fantastic, I personally think it was a crime to let him through and not andy, but u can't say he is completely talentless.

I think Tabby is quite an apt name...he is like a little scruffy cat that isn't exactly pedigree, can screech quite loudly but is loved by some owners for reasons unknown

According to gossip, Tabby used to be in a band with two members of Westlife and knows Louis Walsh from way back. Oh to be a Rock n Roll star!
