Reading through this thread it seems to be a crime to like tabby,anyone that says thay do is put down.
I like what i`ve heard from him so far & hope he does well on saturday.Is he not allowed to have supporters ???

Agreed - it seems that Tabby is getting all the blame for Sharon's decision to ditch Andy. All this venom against him seems purely based on the fact that there is a misguided belief that he usurped Andy.

IMHO, Sharon should have kept both Andy and Tabby - and ditched Roberta.

Whilst I'm not convinced that Tabby is particuarly interesting, and certainly is not the saviour of the music industry, I certainly don't think he deserves all this criticism purely because he was chosen over and above Andy. It is totally unfair on Tabby to condemn him before he's been given a chance, just because he has 'taken the place' of some people's favourite.

Andy seems like a nice guy and I think he would be ashamed of you.

I think your missing the point I don't like Tabby anyone who goes for a show like Xfactor and complains about having to do covers and doesn't bother to learn the words when he is given a cover to sing shouldn't be there.
The fact that Sharon had chose Andy and then changed to Tabby just rubs salt into the wound.
This is a board for our opinions surely, People can say they like Tabby people can say they hate him. Just because people are saying the don't like him it's not 'unfair' it's just an opinion.
I've said I don't like him and like Andy, anything else I've said is just in reply to other messeges.
Oh and Andy likes a good debate, so I don't think he would be ashamed. lol

There was an interesting article in the Daily Mail on Monday which looked at each of the nine singing choices. Tabby, whose real name is Trevor, went to school with three members of Westlife and knows Louis Walsh well. I find it strange that Louis didnt seem to acknowledge him at the first audition. Tabby also stated that he cannot sing Pop or Soul music.

Don't think I'm missing the point at all. Fair enough - fine that you don't like Tabby for the reasons stated. But to then go on to say that he was chosen over Andy 'rubs salt into the wound' just shows that there is a feeling that it is in some way Tabby's fault that Sharon changed her mind.

I never said that it was unfair that people don't like Tabby. My point is that it is unfair to be against Tabby purely because there is a perception that he somehow stole Andy's place. Would there be all this anti-Tabby feeling if he had been one of Sharon's first choices along with Cassie? If for instance, she decided on Tabby, Cassie and Andy - and then changed Andy for Roberta - would there be threads of venom for Roberta?

Just for the record - I thought Sharon was off her rocker for rejecting Andy - he definitely should have gone through as he has the 'x-factor' in bucketloads (IMHO) and think he had a very good chance of staying for a long while, especially with all the girly vote. However, I also think that Tabby has something - not sure if it's the x-factor - but I find him quite appealing and I do like his voice. What seems wrong to me is that some of the Andy fans seem to have created a bad feeling against Tabby for no reason other than Sharon's decision.

I've said much the same a few time Jeanie. There is even a thread called 'The I love Andy + Anti-tabby board ' Which I think is a bit unfair, have a 'I love Andy' thread and a 'Anti Tabby' thread by all means, but liking Andy does not automatically mean you dislike Tabby and vice versa.

I blame Sharon, and the editting, Tabby is on the back foot from the start by being seen as the usurper of Andy. From what I have seen of Andy (and has been posted here), I think he would deem that unfair.

I have nothing against Tabby ( Trevor ) as a person. It's just that he is not any good.

I dont see y u cant like both. unfortunately it just was not Andy's time, he'll get his go eventually. In the mean time I think Tabby would b great with a band behind him

you can like both, you can hate both. As I keep trying to say I dislike Tabby not because I like Andy but because I don't think he's got the xfactor.
