What are you most looking forward to in music during 2012?

I'm mostly looking forward to Madonna's new album and The Super Bowl performance she's doing.

Also looking forward to new music from Ellie Goulding and Kesha. Also, the possibility of new music from Foster the People and of course Gaga's tour

Lana Del Rey's 'Born To Die' album is definitely my most anticipated album release. Every track I've heard so far that is alleged to be on the album has been absolutely stellar.

Madonna.

I also think the first real signs of the demise of the current generic dance/pop/rap generic hybrid are starting to show.

I was surprised by the Irish top ten last week and how the top 10 this week is shaping up in the UK-ok the latter is Christmas fuelled, but there is a lot of variety in both and variety (is)or can be good.

Hopefully this will allow in forms of music, new and old, to get the focus.

I would also like Lady Gaga to cut down on the shock tactics and show us what a good musician she actually is-which she is.

CHRISTINA'S COMEBACK OF COURSE!

Then, I'm waiting for Madonna's return as well and there are a lot of other artists coming back that could also deliver something great. And of course there are always new artists that just pop out of nowhere, so one or two surprises wouldn't harm anyone, would they?

Are you going to go? I'm thinking of going as well if I can get tickets to a show either in Dublin or London.

I'm looking forward to an Adele-free year. I'm sure she'll be back in 2013 with another dominating hold on the charts.

I'm looking forward to the ascension of Miss Del Ray.

I'm looking forward to Lexy Burke's new album.

I'm mostly looking forward to the Girls Aloud reunion. I think 2012 could potentially be an amazing year for girlbands: theres Girls Aloud, Sugababes, The Saturdays, Little Mix, StooShe, SoundGirl, Dolly Rockers and a few others, who could all be releasing new material next year.
