dumb question about flour
I've used both self-raising and plain flour to make pancakes recently..and I really cant tell the difference in taste or texture.
What is the difference, is it just one has baking powder in it making it expand more? |

My Mum, Gawd bless her soul, used to use self-raising flour for everything - even pastry.
