logix TV Guide wont work?
Hello everyone,
I have a Logix tv and the TV guide on the TV I have only shows maybe the first couple of hours of things on tv. It goes up to 5 days in advance too but doesn't show anything other than the first hour or two? |

Might be worth trying a 'factory reset' or fresh channel scan.
Sounds like you're only getting the basic 'now & next' guide. Have you gone through DSO recently?, could be that. |

Thanks for that. If I leave it on the tv guide for a while it does slowly bring up a few more hours on some channels.
No DSO is not untill 2012 for me. |

No DSO is not untill 2012 for me. If a reset doesn't do the trick, it might be worth deleting any channels you don't use, in order to free up some 'memory'. I had to do this on an old PVR which is still in use here, and that speeded up the EPG quite a bit!. |

Well I called the TV Company up and they said I need to get a new TV Ariel put up, so I got an installer out and got a new ariel put up. I returned the TV and the signal strength was still only 50%, so IO called up TV Company again and they said I need a TV Ariel booster. So I got one of those.
http://direct.asda.com/ASDA-27814HS-...xmtiw&istBid=t Then I got it home, tried it and re tuned again and still only 50%. So I then went and contacted the TV company and they said that I need to check booster is between 20-40 decibels but theres no where on the instructions that says that??? So I dont know what to do? Does anyone know a TV Signal booster online anywhere that is between 20-40 decibels as I can not find one??? |

I doubt very much that the EPG not populating has anything to do with the aerial (Ariel is a detergent) and, in any event:
1 The aerial installer should have checked that all channels were being received - which I assume they are as missing channels haven't been mentioned 2 Why have you waited almost a year to resurrect this 3.How old is the TV and what model? Some TVs/digital boxes can take up to 20 minutes (or more) before the full 7 day EPG is available but certainly not hours. It would appear to be a software fault in the TV IMHO you're wasting your time with boosters. Try, if you can, another TV with your aerial and if the EPG is fully populated then you'll know that your TV is at fault |
