Imho she made a mistake and I was disappointed she didn't stick to her first decision.

I am really disappointed in Sharon. andy was a much better singer than tabby and im sorry but how can you call yourself tabby and be serious? i think sharon picked the weakest 3 out of her 5, ok the only one that has a fair chance of doing well is the posher version of britney aka cassie i just realy don't understand the logic behind her choices. oh well, sharon will just have to learn from her mistakes, all that red hair dye has gone to her head...

I think Tabby is great, he's got a good rock voice, something different from the usual pop pap. Andy was good, but he isn't a great singer, I think Sharon knows he needs a lot of work before he can make it and there simply isn't enough time for that.

Me too Arty. Loved Andy and judging by Sharon's tears, she genuinely agonised over the decision. Had it not been at such a crucial part of the whole thing, I think Andy would definitely have had the "I've made a terrible mistake" phone call inviting him back again! Come back Andy!!!

I think Simon Cowell would have put him through if he had that group. He has stated that he would not have put Cassie through at all which is maybe a little unfair. I kept hoping that Sharon was going to phone up Andy at the end of the show to tell him it had all been some terrible mistake. I might be wrong but wasnt Andys family the only one we didnt see with their reaction to him not getting through?
Probably missed some of it through the tears though.

I really loved Andy, I wish Sharon had put him through, he had a great voice and was rather good looking to boot!

Tabby is IMO a low rent wannabe and (again IMO)never will be,Andy on the other hand,was a lovely lad with tons of real personality and a half decent voice...Sharon you made a boo boo there girl.

I prefer tabby to roberta to so i probs would have swopped roberta for andy!!

I like Sharon Osborne immensely but did anyone else get a bit agitated by her tears? There she was breaking Andy's heart and she was the one bloody crying.

I like Tabby but I think Andy was much better, she has definitely made the wrong decision.

I'm not sure that Andy is a better performer than Tabby, but I think he would have done better with the general public and I think that she made the wrong decision for that reason. She has picked the one that she eventually thought was better, rather than pick the one more likely to win. Personally I think I would have had both of them, and the Britney looker may be a good singer but she is totally forgettable in my eyes. In fact, when I saw the final 5 she had picked I didn't even recognise her.

I think Simon Cowell has the competition in the bag now. Andy was probably the only real rival to his over 25s, and he was very canny in his final 3, going for the vote winners rather than the ones he thought were the better artists. He made it perfectly clear that he thought Odis/Otis(?) was the best of the five, but didn't pick him. I reckon this showed his skill at this sort of programme whereas Sharon is still doing her first series.

Simon learned a lot picking Gareth Gates over Will Young.

I agree Manko. I like Tabby and Andy, I would've preferred to see both in the final three. Although I still think Tabby and Cassie will give Simon's lot a run for their money.

Andy doesn't have a great voice but I really think he could have won the whole thing. Tabby doesn't have a chance.

i mean look at robbie williams he hasnt got an amazing voice but hes still probably the most popular male solo artist in the uk at moment.

Judging by how well Sam did in Pop Idol 2 - I am certain that Andy would have got to the the last three at least and could have possibly won the whole thing. He didnt have the best voice technically but he connected with the viewer on an emotional level and had the so called X-Factor in spades. I am shocked at how quickly Sharon chose the two girls as definites. They do have strong voices but they are a little too similar and there is nothing special that would lift them above the usual reality tv fodder. I knew that Sharon would put Tabby through from the very beginning. I actually thought her dilemma would have been which one of the two out of Roberta and Cassie to put through.

Personally, as much as Andy seemed like a delightful young man, I couldn't warm to his voice. He reminded me too much of Tommy Steele - like a theatre singer. Not that that's a bad thing, but I didn't find his voice great. However, I think he'd have got the personality vote big style.

What's annoying me about this series is the lack of the 'final 50' type heats. that way, you got far more of a measure of the person and their voice.

If you've seen Sharon Osbourne's American chat show (now defunct) showing on Sky1 you'd probably come to the conclusion that she is insincere.

I thought it pitiful that Andy had to comfort Sharon. Very unprofessional of her and not caring towards Andy's feelings at all

Shes a good manager, knows all the tricks of the trade. She probably was playing to the cameras, but it's no different from Simon Cowell being Mr Nasty.

Think that Tabby (Kerry Jones soundalike?) actually has a better voice than Andy though won't appeal to the teeny bopper market in the way the latter would have. All these people who are slamming Cowells choice of Verity should take a good look at the reason Andy even made it to the final five - largely an emotive choice IMO.

I loved Andy to bits and was definately annoyed to see Sharon picked Tabby over him.

If Tabby forgets the words again Sharon will regret it!

Bring Andy back he may not of had the best voice in the group but he had the best personality i think tabby was too much of a joker and a fake, Andy's more genuine COME ON GET HIM BACK!!!!!
