Once my sex change has been completed, I've been told that I will definitely be in the running.

Unfortunately, that is for "freak of the year" and not the next companion on Doctor Who.

Yes, you're busy shagging your brother, or something, in Shame.

They have a very good costume department, I'm sure they can readjust the size.

I heard they'd decided not to use K9 because he's going to be in the US movie version. Nicolas Cage has already been fitted for a costume.

Ah - but this is Moffatt, remember? He likes to play around with time. The next companion won't be the next one, it'll be the last (previous) one, which he's never, ever mentioned before. Or since. Or sideways.

Not only is Moffatt's next companion actually the previous one but the next series, once completed, is scheduled to go out in 1993. It both will and won't feature Matt Smith and will consist of only a single two-minute scene that plays in a loop; special variations in tinting will reveal different aspects of the action such that it fills the standard series length of 585 minutes.

At last! Something decent behind-the-scenes for Confidential to cover.

Oh...

Gary
PS - An episode of Coupling was called 9 and a half minutes, which was three stories, all drawing to the same point in time (and space), making up the 30-minute programme length. So I really wouldn't put it past him.
