I wondered what that tweet meant, so I hopped on over here...and it's what I figured.

Such an unpleasant woman - Brendan has been totally lovely this year, and she won't find much sympathy, I fear.

I can't remember any celebrity talking like that about their pro-dancer before. Never any bitching in public. Just shows what a nasty character she is. Does she think a different one could have taken her further? Silly woman. . . . .

To be fair, if indeed Pasha was paired with Lulu (thank goodness it didn't happen), then we might have our UK version of the Tristan Macmanus effect here, i.e. people voting for the pro instead of the celeb. I'll let the Tristan's lusters here fill you in if you are not exactly sure what I was talking about.

Just playing Devil's Advocate here but someone pointed me in the direction of this article

Quote:
“ Strictly Come Dancing bosses have reportedly got their hands full on this weekend’s final, as three of the celebrity couples are barely speaking to one another.

Insiders say that Lulu hasn’t spoken to her professional partner Brendan Cole since they were voted off the show in week six. Sources say she took offence at comments he made about her soon afterwards, implying that she was perhaps a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde character.

A Strictly source told The Sun:

“When Lulu heard what Brendan said about her she was livid. I’m sure he didn’t mean to upset her but she has been very sensitive about her time on the show and needed more support than he was prepared to give her. He is a very hard taskmaster and this didn’t often sit well with Lulu.””

I rather like Brendan and despite what some people have suggested, I am entirely neutral about Lulu but there seems to have been a huge personality clash between them and it doesn't sound as if either of them come out of this very well

It's not really a question of being ungracious, the heights were wrong for Brendan and Lulu, Artem and Holly. She'd have better off with Vincent and Brendan with Holly.

Lulu did actually mention the heights as an issue on Loose Women even though the OP didn't mention it.

Very true. Although I thought Artem and Holly danced beautifully together, she probably did need a taller partner than him.

Vincent and Lulu would have worked much better as a pairing too. He always comes across as very unassuming but a very good teacher.

I've said this before, but I have to say it again; I just love how Brendan seems to have become nice this year.

Before, if I had to rank male pros, 1, being nice, 7 being rude, Brendan would have been 6 or 7 (place James as you wish), but this year, he's in the top 4, because I think Anton can go 5; no matter the bad partners, Vincent always manages to be nice.

And on subject, I think most people will agree that Brendan and Holly made a good dancing couple, and it's a shame we didn't get to see them from the start, although in saying that, maybe Holly would have been the same, in which case, considering that Brendan seems a bit chiller than Artem at the moment, I'm not sure how long she would have survived. It doesn't take someone with a nuclear physics PhD to know I supported Chelsee and Pasha right till the end.

But no... that would have been too much to ask, would it? You know, be nice for a change?

She should hang out with Dr Hamela.”

Dr. Hamela may have had her faults but she understood that her dancing ability and progress through was down to James at least partially. She also had a lot more talent. Lulu's equivalent is Nancy in being on her own planet fuelled by her own ego - she's been staggering ungrateful to Brendan but has failed to realise that he's got the last laugh - he comes out of this smelling of roses (quite rightly so IMO) whilst she's exposed herself as being a right spoiled diva.

Paradoxically Brendan probably got more out of the diva then anyone else would have done but I too thought him and Holly would have worked better - I don't think her partnership with Artem really gelled and although it would have been a shame to miss out on some of Hartem's routinue - Artem was due a dud.

So she mentioned the height issue - which is true
She mentioned him wanting Holly as a partner - also probably true
And she said the chemistry wasn't right between them, which also seems true

So where is she being nasty?

I seem to recall Brendan being a bit mean about Lulu on ITT when he said he had a great time dancing with Holly and Anita, deliberately not mentioning Lulu which I think she understandably could be a bit upset/p'd off about

Nevermind then. Now you know that I supported Chelsee. I WAS being sarcastic. Perhaps you are a Lulu supporter. If so, I apologise if I came across harsh on Lulu. Haven't watched LW, but I am not sure if I want to watch it tbh!!!
