Hi there, looking for some advice please.

I have just bought some shorts to wear over Christmas/NY etc, I plan to wear them with thick tights and heels (and top, obviously LOL)....

However, what I am worried about - what age do you think is "too old" to be wearing this type of outfit?

It depends on how you feel wearing them surely? Say you were aged 30 and someone posted that no one over 25 should wear them would that stop you?

If you like them and you look good then does it matter how old you are?

For ref I wear this look quite a bit but with chunky boots or converse and I'm 41. If anyone told me I was too old I'd tell them to do one!

If it suits your style and you wear it well, it doesn't matter the age.

Sounds like a good way of covering up the cellulite so I would say a good look for mums and even grannies.

I agree with the above. If it suits you wear it. Doesnt matter about age, just whether it looks good on you.

I think it depends more on whether it actually suits you or not. If you have nice legs and a reasonably small shapely bum it will look fine. If you have chunky legs and a large wobbly a*** forget it.

Not really a fashion for the over forties unless you are very young looking !

I'd say it's fine, especially with tights.

I totally love this look, so sexy! Esp. with a small hole or two in the tights to show a bit of skin.

I'm 28 and I took the plunge recently and bought a pair of shorts. I think I'm going to wear mine today for the first time with tights and high heels or boots i'm not sure yet I felt like I might be too old too, but then I thought if it looks good why not. I think you should go for it.

It's better than mutton dressed as mutton!
