Although Adele has had more sales than Gaga, I think BTW will win in a very close vote! There could even be a first in the category, a tie!
I think the voters love Adele but will want to make up for the big mistake two years ago, re:the The Fame losing out to TS!
Well, that's my opinion! What's yours?”
if adele loses people will think shes been cheated. i dont think either deserve to win. they didnt have full 5 star ratings by critics. kanye wests my DBTfantasy did. so he's been robbed. many times for AOTY. and watch the throne too. beyonce's 4 was one of the best, if not the best contemporary r&b album of 2011 and was featured in the top 5 of many high profile magazines/sites top albums of 2011 list but the grammys snubbed it.
[On a side note:
regardless of how many grammys she has. so if stevie wonder won the grammy for AOTY in 1974 (innervisions) and then was nominated for AOTY again with fulfilingness' first finale in 1975, should he not win because he won last year? (just answering a question people bring up about beyonce and her grammy wins. - and most of them were for contemporary/r&b performance/album/song so people cant complain - she makes some of the best (if not the) contemporary r&b post the golden age of r&b (the 90s).]
i think adele will sweep the board. not that she's nominated for many grammys. why did they take out the male/female vocal performance? that means gaga could win for the overall song if you put in a better vocal and she didnt (no shade on gaga -great voice

- just an example). same for r&b - removing traditional r&b and contemporary and fusing them together? beyonce and jill scott make good albums but cant compete, the music is completely different (as is any other nomination in another category) but the r&b is different. one's traditional and the others modern! silly grammy committee!

i know theyre trying to make the awards more competitive but it looks ridiculous!
