Digitalspy Top 25 Singles Of The Year

As if the credibility of DS isn't low enough, has anyone else look at this sham of a list?

I got to the point where Nicola Roberts was ahead of Coldplay and then stopped. What a hilarious joke that is.

I dread to think how worse it gets...

Til the World Ends at #1?! On The Floor above All Fired Up??
Some great songs in there (Heaven, Beautiful People) but the crap is sitting at the top.

It's laughable.

At least Noel Gallaghers made it on there... even if it was only at 15.

Good on digitalspy for recognising what an epic tune Britney's Till the World Ends. More than deserved it's place at number 1!!!! Probably the most underrated song of this decade so far. I actually screamed when I saw at number 1. Thanks digitalspy.

I'm quite surprised that the top 10 isn't exclusively Britney, Gaga and The Saturdays tbh.

Ah, as usual, people complaining about attractive females getting some critical acclaim for a change, and people whining that artists who play their own instruments aren't winning every single competition.

Whether Britney Spears can play a guitar or not makes absolutely no difference to how good or bad Till the World Ends is. The list is based off the songs themselves, not how musically talented the credited artists are.

In the UK, I agree, that it's very underrated, but it had massive success in the US, so I wouldn't say it's the most underrated song of the decade, since it got massive commercial success in the most important market.

Would have thought Price Tag would have been higher than #25 though I don't really like it anymore due to overkill from the radio and people singing it

True, I guess I just got a bit carried away because in the UK it didn't do so well at all. Lots of my friends didn't even know Britney was still around, never mind that she's released such a killer song. Even when I've requested it in some clubs I get a blank look.

I Wanna Go is hugely underrated too.

Britney Spears No 1?? Wow even worse than I thought it would have been.

Decent song but very generic IMO

Haha of course it deserved No 1! I think that and I Wanna Go were her best singles this year.

Ridiculous that Video Games didn't even make the top 10.
The Edge of Glory should be higher than #4 too.

It's been a shit year for singles so maybe they thought their list should reflect that.

Glad to Kanye's All Of The Lights, Chase and Status' Blind Faith on there
Overall it's a much better list then PJ's. More representative imo.

Glad to see Nicola Roberts in there! Also so happy at Till The World Ends at number 1 ! Such an underrated song.

The fact that Judas is on there despite being one of the worst songs of the year is bad as well.

This year has been pretty tragic for singles actually. Perked up a bit at the end with the likes of Flo, but the whole summer really struggled for good music.

I stopped reading when you suggest the interminable dullards known as Coldplay are somehow preferable to the insurmountably amazing Nicola Roberts.

Till The World Ends is actually grossly overrated by Britney fans. While good enough, it really isn't that amazing and lacks a proper chorus. There are much better songs on Femme Fatale like He About To Lose Me and Criminal.

I think that's one of the reasons everyone think it's so good though, it's epic even without the proper chorus!

Till the world ends is so underrated. I'm so glad that DS are giving it some of the recognition it deserves.

I haven't seen the list but is it AKA What a Life at no 15? If so that is encouraging, just 13 or 14 places too low!
