One of her best songs, I think. It should have gone top 10 here. I'm glad it was very successful in the States though.

Tbh i agree....Till The World Ends, Live Those Days Tonight, Pumped Up Kicks are THE songs of 2011 really

Such an underrated hit really and I personally feel it is definitely up there with Slave and Toxic as immense sweaty frenetic Dance!

Just wished the video was a bit more in line with how immense the song is and also wished it had more promo and radio airplay! But yeah i think it is more of a cult favourite single

HOORAY!

And she has 3 songs in Popjustice's top 45 singles of 2011 (I think all three were in the top 25), and How I Roll is Rolling Stone's top song of 2011, and Femme Fatale is in the top ten albums for them!

The recognition her music deserves!

I am glad more music critics acknowledge what she is capable of really...And YES More How I Roll love! IMO i think it is her best song ever! I mean i love loads of Britney but i love how absurd it is and how marmite people and fans have reacted to it. It reminds me a lot of Robyns style, very quirky Dance!

Britney as a Music Artist since Blackout is very overlooked and i feel a load of her best material has come since 2007 really....i mean she is so off the wall with it and herself.

I hope she reconnects with mainstream audiences again in the future Femme Fatale is such an underrated album and period i feel.

I hope this pushes them to release How I Roll... It's probably going to be an unfulfilled wish though. It would hardly hurt to film a video, do one or two performances, and watch it take off! It's likely to be at least a million seller stateside! It's so fresh it'd be perfect for the New Year. It would kill radio!

Unfortunately as of last week, the FF "era" is over and Jive announced Britney will be taking a break for a bit (2012 is out basically)

But How I Roll would have been a fantastic release, Trip To Your Heart also and gasoline is a potential hit.

But hey whoe!

It was an incredibly optimistic wish!
So many singles gone to waste!
What happened to 5 or 6 singles? Works for Rihanna and the like.

the whole FF era has been Under rated Femme Fatale is one of the best pop albums of 2011. Its just a shame she never once promoted here Promotion plays a big part now days.

On the bright side, it's sold quite well here.

I read a few months ago on Buzzjack it had sold over 250k, so by now, surely over 300k?

^ Yes, it's peak is mis-leading. Last time I checked, it was the 2nd best-selling song of the year that missed the top 20. I doubt it's sold as much as 300,000 though, but it's sold almost as much as the top 10 hit, Hold It Against Me.

It was massive in the US though, with it peaking at #3, and spending over 2 months in the top 10. I think it would've been that big in the UK if it had got the radio airplay that Hold It Againt Me got.

There's no point in Britney releasing anymore singles though, at least from the UK's perspective. Radio aren't supporting her anymore. The next chance she has of having a hit here is with the lead single from her next album tbh. Or if she features on someone else's album.

As much as i love Brit, the main reason her music isn't doing insanely well as it should be, is because of the loads and loads of autotune she uses. That kinda puts people of her tbh

Also the fact that she doesn't sing live affects her poularity big time. Also where's the promotion? All the big artists are appearing on shows and stuff but where is brit?

Couldn't agree more. I think it's the best song of her career. It seriously doesn't get old. It does something to me everytime I hear it. I just wanna jump up and dance like crazy and yell at the top of my voice. It's so damn addictive!

I know a lot of fans say this when their faves are flopping, but I just don't think that Britney cares any more to come over to promote. She says she loves touring but hates promoting so I just think when she's at a point in her career when her label are hardly gonna drop the BRITNEY SPEARS for not promoting or doing any promo work at all, she'd just prfer to stay at home and be a mum to her kids!

DS, Rolling Stone and PopJustice have all given her great reviews this year, among others.

Femme Fatale is probably her third most critically appreciated album, after In The Zone and Blackout.

i think its one of her best songs ever to be honest. couldn't stop playing it when it first came out and its still #1 on my itunes most played. the release was messy and rushed in my opinion. without a doubt, it should have charted higher here.

the video is great, too.
