Ok, so I have a large music collection of 18000+ songs and I need to start organising a few playlists. I have a few standard ones like Gym Mix and Party Mix but I have no ideas for others.

Share your playlists here and maybe it will get me going.

These are a combination of all the playlists/tags I use on Spotify/Last.fm/iTunes:

- Top 40 playlists for my favourite artists (e.g. Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Girls Aloud etc)
- 'Top 40 B-sides'
- Yearly playlists (e.g. Top 40 singles of 2009)
- Summer playlist
- Workout playlist
- 'Scandinavian pop'
- 'Melancholic pop' (for stuff like Robyn - With Every Heartbeat, Lily Allen - The Fear etc)
- 'Essential Xenomania' for my 100 favourite songs they've produced (replace Xenomania with whoever your favourite producer is - I've also got playlists for Richard X, Bloodshy and Avant, Greg Kurstin and loads of others)
- Guilty pleasures i.e. cheesy pop songs
- Favourite Eurovision songs
- Favourite remixes
- Dance playlist
- Girl group playlist
- Ballad playlist

I hope thats given you a bit of inspiration
