Doctor Who on Graham Norton

You guys probably all know about Matt Smith being on tonight's Christmas episode of The Graham Norton Show. However, I was wondering if you guys knew that Karen Gillan will be on 2 weeks from now with Noel Gallagher, Gerard Butler, and a comedian to be named later.

That's interesting that Matt will be on the episode before the compilation episode and Karen is on the show right after. Graham has been very supportive of Doctor Who. He's had many of the stars on his talk shows. (Eccleston, Tennant, Davison, Tate, Smith, Agyeman, Gillan).!

He probably felt he had to be supportive after his two Doctor Who-related disasters

Wasn't it Grahams voice bleeding over the soundtrack so you could hear them in the studio during whichever reality show it was at that time?

Edit to add: Found the related DS thread

Thanks. I didn't know about this. I wasn't posting on here then, and don't remember hearing anything untoward when I watched the episode.

I feel a bit sorry for GN - it's not his fault. He seems to be jinxed when it comes to DW

As much as I love the brilliant Matt Smith I still can't quite bring myself to watch Graham Norton, no-one annoys me more, can't stand him.

I've uploaded Matt's segments from the show here:

So in that photo of Matt with American Who fans dressed as various Doctors and companions Matt was puzzled as to the identity of the companion portrayed by a girl in the photo, when it was so obviously Dodo? And I thought he'd done his homework before taking the role.

If the person in question was supposed to be Sarah Jane or maybe even Jo I might have agreed with you, but to expect the guy to remember a companion from half a series when (a) he's never seen the programme before and (b) as an actor, he's probably concentrating on the men playing the role he's taking on (I know I would if I was in his position), seems like a big ask to me, particularly when you consider the sheer volume of episodes he's had to watch in a short space of time

Not as bad as that awfull Alan Carr - he makes my skin crawl.

Started watching the show last night but turned it off as I couldn't stand that so called comedian who was on at the same time.
