Their most recent album hit the top 30 in the UK and got to number 2 on the US Billboard Top 200, so yes, I think quite a few people know The Black Keys. They've been very popular with the NME/Pitchfork crowd for years. I'm not too big a fan of the whole 70s revival sound, but I think they're one of the best at what they do.

IIRC Arctic Monkeys are big fans of the band. In fact, I think they are co-headlining an Arena tour of the US with them next year. i saw them on Jools a year or so ago and enjoyed them.....but not enough to buy any of their stuff.

I love love love Lonely Boy! Just now getting into them...NME played the video two weeks ago which is hilarious....and Radio 1 have played them a fair bit too....so yeah...i like the Old Skool sound!
