Personally, I liked them

I think there one or two mistakes by WarDrobe (namely the Liquorice Allsort dress) but a lot of the dresses were great!

I liked that dress

I think they looked ok from a distance, but when shown up close on ITT, they looked rather cheap. Also there were several instances of heels getting caught in dresses, suggesting a bit long.. and also Chelsee's wardrobe malfunction.

Most them were great apart from a few exceptions

I can't vote because I neither liked nor disliked them, really, but I do think they were better in the first series than they have been in the later ones. There are just no dresses like Zoe's tango dress anymore, for instance.

Few rank disasters (sadly!).

But too many malfunctions to be acceptable. Boobs should not be in danger of emerging and heels should not get caught. Boas and other trims should not spontaneously detach themselves and arm hankies should not obscure faces.

But not much to actually gasp at....

I couldn't understand a lot of the criticism because some of them were just works of art. Loved Holly's red Foxtrot gown, Kristina's animal print Tango dress, Chelsee's high necked AT dress are just a few examples.

Like every series a few disasters.....Holly's QS cardigan in beige was a bit hideous and some of the Pro dresses were unnecessarily revealing in Ballroom i.e Ola's Foxtrot dress. Kristina and Aliona looked a bit tarty at times which is a shame as they are such beautiful women and less really is more.

I liked most of the costumes but not the number of wardrobe malfunctions. The number of heels getting caught in dresses was ridiculous. I hope they sort that out for next year.
The only costume I really loathed was Chelsee's argentine tango dress.

There were some great costumes - Aliona's AT, VW, AS, Chelsee's Jive, AS, Waltz, Kristina's AS and Charleston, Alex's Tango...

But there were also some awful ones, like that ridiculous multi-coloured mess they made Anita wear one week, Chelsee's launch show costume etc.

So a bit like the last few series really except wardrobe seem to have lost the ability to avoid heels getting caught in dresses - it's happening more often than it ever has before!

I liked the Ola catsuit, mind you I do every year. But I can never see the pussy in it.
Could i tempt it out with a warm hearth and a saucer of milk?

For Chelsee, they got it wrong more often than not:

Launch show outfit
Argentine Tango dress
Paso Doble dress
Wardrobe malfunction-prone Tango dress
The coat over her charleston dress
Her waltz and rumba dresses had too many ribbony things
Her jive dress was an inch too long
Her samba dress should have been a proper union jack

Good in parts

There are always a few shockers but I think in general this has been a really good year for the costume department.

I think overall they did well.

I cant remember a bad outfit for Aliona - Aliona studied fashion design so that probably helps.
They were a bit hit and miss with Chelsee but they had Chelsee looking very good when they got it right - I think wardrobe and Pasha did a bit of learning what worked for Chelsee, and the AS outfit was my favourite.
Flavia had a few really nice outfits, as did Holly, and Alex can really wear a dress when they get it right.

I liked them all, apart from Ola on movie night.

I thought Alex did very well out of wardrobe in terms of style (esp her VW dress - gorgeous! Jive outfit was pretty grim though), though there was obviously 'functionality' problems, but overall there was, IMO, a tendency towards vulgarity. Chelsee's tango dress was far too low cut, especially given her proportions, and Kristina's AT dress looked stunning from the waist up but was obscenely short and looked cheap. There were some real shockers: Bertie Bassett, Anita's jive, both jason and Kristina in their jive. Not to mention that dress of Alesha's with a roll of carpet on one shoulder (if indeed that was down to wardrobe and not the first thing that fell out of her wardrobe after a few shandies)
