Hi, we had a family at home christmas , no arguing, loads of pressies including some framed photos of the family, a clock for my newly decorated kitchen, spa voucher to have a pamper day...oh and a snood its ace keeps me lovely and warm plus snazzy slippers

Hiya surfaced at last having ace time eaten give amounts watched loads of telly venturing out tomo to the sales yay. Visitor turned up for his clothes apparently he is working for BBC one and they are putting him up in a hotel and it will be shown in march will keep you posted. Aww it's always hard going back to work after a break In my work we keep 3 days of our annual leave so that we can add it to the public holidays and either get Christmas week off or New Year week off. Hope it's not too hectic for you tomorrow x


So Santa was good to you grassy! It's always nice to get some surprise gifts. I can't believe how generous everyone has been! I got enough money to buy a new telly, loads of gorgeous smellies, theatre tickets, a cook book () and sweeties It's always nice to spend time in here on the thread isn't it! I come in as often as I can, but can't do the really late nights when I'm working the next day

Pas im actually scared of my new cooker its so fast before i could read the paper before me cooker got hot now its nearly instant and so many knobs to twiddle still a good incentive to get cooking.

This is where I get a wee bit sentimental At this time of the year I always count my blessings - the best daughter and son in the world, a fantastic and supportive family, great friends, a job I love, good health - all in all I'm very lucky! I'm also lucky to be part of this thread and to have gotten to know you lovely bunch of people and for that reason I am grateful to Josie (and John) for bringing us all together in the first place

I hope you all have a splendiferous New Year and I will be back amongst you all again next week!

Aww night bear hug to the mogie. Have just eaten ice creams with chocolates and cream on top ha only at christmas. The best present i received was seeing my son so happy after a heartbreaking year for.him. he looks happy healthy and ate everything in sight yay to sons and daughters and family. Gosh it is such a sentimental time
