The Black Keys - El Camino
This Album was released a couple of months ago but I have been elsewhere. I checked Digi Spy for a thread but hit a dead end. I do not understand why because it is an outstanding album.
The Black Keys? I personally have not heard a bad album by them....a bad song.? ... not one. |

I like some of their music and downloaded a couple of tracks from this album which were great.
As a new member here, it is very clear that the vast majority of members who post about music, are into pop music and not much else! |

Excellent album. I didn't think it would be my kind of thing for some reason, but I took the plunge and listened to it, and I'm so glad I did as it was fantastic. I don't think I've stopped playing Lonely Boy since.

this new album El Camino has got me really attracted to them, i have to admit it is the first album i have purchased of theirs, but i will definitely be buying their earlier ones. Favourite songs atm include Money Maker, Lonely Boy, Nova Baby and Hell of a Season, but the album as a whole is brilliant!

I fell in love with them after hearing Tighten Up on NYE 2010 when I was off my face. I downloaded Brothers after that and fell in love. I'm yet to check out their older stuff but I will do soon.
El Camino is amazing though, I especially love Lonely Boy, Dead and Gone, Nova Baby, Money Maker & Sister (Though they're all pretty good, bar one or two tracks) Apparently they are also very good live, I hope they come to Brighton

I wasn't a huge fan of their last two albums but I'm really liking 'El Camino', it's one of the most entertaining new rock albums I've heard in a while. My only criticism would be that there are a few weaker tracks towards the end of the album like 'Stop Stop' and 'Mind Eraser'.

It's a great album, and I think Lonely Boy is possibly now my favourite Black Keys track. Maybe.
