For Talk That Talk I think it's about 1.4 million since it was released, I think about 500,000~ is from the UK alone and about 375,000 from the US. that leaves about 550,000 from the rest of the world. I don't think it's doing too bad but I think Loud had sold more at this point but well done anyway, especially in the UK!

they should start using torrent stats in the charts too...there was like 6000 seeders when i got my copy

She's sold 1,303,000 worldwide in 4 weeks which is brilliant! She should finish the year on 1.5m+ ..

Not sure how Loud compared at this point? I'm guessing they were kinda similar.

Loud sold a lot more than this I think. It sold about 1 million in the UK alone last year!

But if Love the Way You Lie had been released this year, I think Loud would've sold a bit less last year, and Talk That Talk would be selling more this year.

Sales are very similar to last year for Loud. Talk That Talk has only one single which was a massive number 1....whereas Loud had the Eminem hype, Only girl and The X Factor controversial final with Whats My Name...which went to number 1.

Thats the only main factor....but sales are MASSIVE!

this could therefore mean that the album sales will explode further on as RiRi releases more singles

Definitely, I think there's quite a few songs on the album that would do well as singles. Where Have You Been, Talk That Talk, Drunk On Love, Roc Me Out, Watch N Learn, Do Ya Thang would all do well as singles I think (especially the first 3).

I think the album will end up selling 4.5-5m copies in the long run so falling just under Loud's sales.

roc me out and drunk on love are weak imo
she should release
-where have you been
-watch n learn
-do ya thang
-talk that talk

to guarantee success!

She's doing great and she hasn't even promoted massively yet, apart from 3-4 shows, so she's going to do a lot better next year with the 3rd single and some more promo. My only concern is that 'You Da One' is unbelievably weak, probably one of the three weakest singles of her entire career imo I hope the 3rd single is a killer!

I want 'Where Have You Been' to be the 3rd single, 'Cockiness' to be the 4th (not a big contender obviously, but you never know ) and 'Farewell' to be the 5th single. It would feel like the compensation for 'Firebomb' being ditched for 'Te Amo' ( ), even though it doesn't have as much power as FB had.

I think the actual single releases will be 'Talk That Talk' as the 3rd single, 'Where Have You Been' as the 4th and 'We All Want Love' as the 5th I think she could also release 'Birthday Cake' as a full song, like it's been hinted by the producer.I wouldn't be surprised if its inclusion in the 1 minute form is just a trick for its potential release to be more successful

Where Have You Been will be a hit. Can't wait for that to be released

Can't see Do Ya Thang doing well. I like it, but it doesn't scream hit to me. Drunk On Love isso much stronger in my opinion. I think it's really atmospheric and I'm interested to her sing this live. Could be a signature ballad for her maybe?

Yeah I think Do Ya Thang would do well on radio but not sure about it translating into sales.

I agree about Drunk On Love, that has to be released, it's an amazing ballad imo.

TTT, Drunk On Love and Where Have You Been all have to be released anyway. So we've got an urban-pop track, pop-RnB ballad and a huge dance number. YDO doesn't seem to be doing as well as I expected (I've got slightly bored of the track myself) so I agree in the new year they do need to move quickly from it.

'Drunk On Love' is dire imo Her vocals are just so awful on the track, it's definitely out of her comfort zone and maybe it's even out of her vocal range.I want it to remain an album track just because of the crimes against music that its promo performances would be

Fair enough

When I saw her on tour, she really surprised me with her vocals (on ballads like LTWYL, California King Bed, Unfaithful) so I think she could pull it off.

Well, I saw her live on the 'LGOE' tour and she wasn't really good.I think she's improving, though However, I think 'Drunk On Love' may be a little too difficult for her abilities...When it comes to her ballads, I MUCH prefer tracks like 'Final Goodbye' (GEM!), 'Rehab' and 'Fire Bomb' where she's vocally comfortable and her tone shines as opposed to the straining and throat abuse of 'Drunk On Love' and 'Fool In Love'

Talk That Talj and Where Have You Been will be the next singles, Drunk on Love or We All Want Love as final singles. But i guess she'll release like 7 singles again.

I believe Fool In Love is from Battleship, so that might be the next-next single.
