Saw someone wanted a forgotten pro's thread, so here it is!

Hayley Holt- her choreography seemed to lack personality and I remember very little about her.

Paul Killick gave us the amazing Vorderumba so I can't forget him!

I'd say that Brian Fortuna has been forgotten too- I have no idea why he was let go after just two series when his choreography was brilliant.

Kylie is the one I always forget, even though she was a top class ballroom dancer, but that is because she only appeared for one week in one series.

Some of those listed (e.g. John Byrnes, Andrew Cuerden) have quite high profiles being involved in teaching and other activities and so are easy to remember.

Hanna, I always remember as being a superb dancer, great personality and (not least) Christopher Parker's partner!

Andrew Cuerden and Hanna Haarala did their best to remind users of London Underground that they used to be on Strictly during the Autumn.

Is that what Anton is going to do when he leaves

Hayley was Richie McCaw's GF and is now a presenter on NZ TV.

Did Brian's departure have something to do with Dancing on Wheels which didn't return for a second series?

I had the good fortune to meet Hanna Haarala at Erotica back in November.

Not only was she drop dead gorgeous but she was also lovely and friendly to chat to!

Hanna (and Andrew) are both such lovely people and dancers too. Hanna in particular teaches at the dance school I go to and is totally hilarious when she drops the performing persona.

What about Nicole? I actually thought she was pretty good!

Where is she by the way?

I would agree that Nicole Cutler and Brian Fortuna are the two I miss, don't honestly remember the rest.

Also miss Ian, Matthew, Darren and Lilia

Indeed she is!!!

They are not forgotten really. In REAL life outside of SCD they are all continuing their dancing careers. They are all well known in the dance world.

I see John Byrnes every week as he is my dance teacher.He and his wife ( and former dance partner) Jayne Lyttelton run one of the most successful dance schools in the country judging by the number of overseas couples who descend on the school just before the championship comps.

No one has mentioned Camilla Dellerup!..... she is my all time favourite choreographer..... i really miss her being on the programme.......

TQ a lot of people seem to have the impression that the pros who no longer do strictly are somehow on the scrap heap and that annoys me.

Unfortunately in that link above she bears an uncanny resemblance to that Meadon (sp?) woman from Dragon's Den

I'm at the UK Open right now and John and Matthew are both judging am Latin today, Karen and Paul are both judging pro Latin tomorrow and Darren judged the rising stars Latin competitions on Tuesday.

There was a question like this on Pointless a few days ago. They had to name a pro from Strictly that nobody in the audience had named.

I'd have won if I were there, because straight away I thought of Hanna Haraala. I have no idea who she is, or anything about her, but her name has always lingered for some reason!
