It is impossible to over-rate the fabulous Sharon Watts!! Any self respecting EE fan knows this.

I think with Pam St Clement having just left, a new producer would definately ask Letita back in 2012..

If they keep asking her and she keeps declining, they may kill Sharon off off-screen.

I have not seen a recent link of her saying this. Anyone got anything I will be generous 6 months or less on this issue? LD is one of those people lots make things up about. Even by some who pretend to be her fans. Just a few weeks ago with links I called someone out on myths about her so a recentish source would be appreciated.

Why on earth would she want to go back now the show is at a dead end anyway? I think Barbara Windsor's thoughts on it were very clear in the recent interview on This Morning, she didn't even have to say anything as it was blindingly obvious and she quickly moved the conversation on. Letitia wouldn't save EastEnders even if she did go back, it's so ripped apart you just wouldn't know where to start.

EE is in dire straits creatively and in other ways. If I were her I wouldn't go back. It was brilliant when she returned in 2001 but it's awful now and Sharon would end up being another casualty. On the off chance it ever regains the quality it used to have they should leave the door open for a return. It would be idiotic to kill her off screen. It serves no purpose whatsoever. |

She was supposed to return in 2006 but was unable to. In Santer's own words he never asked her back throughout his stint (late 2006-early 2010). So unless they've asked her back loads of times during Kirkwood's era then you're mistaken. She expressed interest in being involved in the 25th anniversary but was never approached. Santer stated he wouldn't bring her back while Ronnie and Roxy were there (heavens knows why). The only time she could have been asked back loads of times, due to Kirkwood's comments about Ronnie being gone and now there's a place for Sharon, could be this year. I doubt they've asked her back loads of times this year.

i wasn't told when she was asked back just that she has been
I just gave you evidence she hasn't been asked back loads of times as of Ronnie's 2011 exit. Seems unlikely they've asked her back ''loads of times'' in less than a year, doesn't it?
