My last minute secret pre Christmas job was to load a (Sony S) android tablet with the recipient's music and then find the album art. Both of which was easy enough. I even found the art work for some quite obscure albums, but could I get any to show up in the music player? Not at all, except a few odd tunes which were pre loaded on the device.

I tried renaming the picture files, tagging some song files with the cover art filename and even embedding the picture file on some others. Nothing worked.

Then I found a post on a forum which suggested to rename the Music folder from 'Music' to 'mp3'. Every single album showed its cover when I next started the player. I could hardly believe it!

I can sleep now.
