Xmas No.1 to be announced on TOTPs first?
Is MW going to be confirmed as Xmas No.1 on TOTPs ahead of the official charts later this evening? Sorry, might be a stupid question. If so, is this the first time this has happened?

They really should have had an Amy tribute. Pretty bad form of them not to.

the last time I can remember the Christmas No1 being announced on TV before the radio is 1994 when East 17's Stay Another Day beat Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You because East 17 performed the track afterwards with some sort of snow coats on
![]() last time Christmas fell on a Sunday was 2005 which would have been Shayne Ward with That's My Goal, don't know if that was announced on the show though |
