I got Eric Saade's "Saade Vol.2" and Rihanna's "Talk That Talk"; working my way through Rihanna's now.

Saade's is great!

What did you guys get? Anything else other than albums?

My sister got me Adele's Albert hall DVD. Just watched it.....fanbloodytastic!!..and she's so funny in between the songs.
My Neice, bless her, heard me moaning recently about how there was hardly any decent rock music these days(I'm an old fogey..lol). So she bought me The Vaccines album. I was very pleasantly surprised by it, having never really heard them before. Some great rocking tunes

My son bought me Heaven by the wonderful Rebecca Ferguson. It's a joy.
I also wanted Adele live at The Royal Albert Hall, I shall have to buy it myself now.

I got:
Rebecca Ferguson - Heaven
Olly Murs - In Case You Didn't Know
Pixie Lott - Young Foolish Happy
Birdy - Birdy
Professor Green - At Your Inconvenience

So far, Rebecca's is the best; it's really quite amazing. Olly Murs' is good but isn't as good as his first album. Pixie Lott's isn't as bad as everyone said it was, I actually quite like it. Birdy's is a bit meh, and I haven't start Professor Green's yet.

The Civil Wars - Barton Hollow

Haven't had a chance to listen to them yet. I know I like the artists and/or some tracks of the albums though.

I got
Mariah Carey: Fantasy - Madison Square Garden (Live).
Perfection. She is so at her peak here, she sounds incredible, she looks beautiful, she can dominate the stage, she's energetic, interactive with the crowd, I love it.

Kate Bush - 50 Words For Snow...amazing album, very beautiful and magical.

Bruce Springsteen - The Essential Collection - amazing 2CD album, getting back into him and his E Street Band recently...fantastic back catalogue.

george michael - Faith remastered....you dont know how much you love an artist until you recapture the magic really....had no idea i was going to recieve the album either (with the other two i pretty much ordered myself lol) But lovely...it reminds actually how underrated he is.

Magic!...a theme really ...but will now save to boost a Coldplay collection for myself and all new releases in 2012

Rebecca Ferguson - Heaven. Excellent, really surprised me as I was worried for her after her debut single but I have got to like it now and think there are far stronger songs on the album. I do wonder why she thanks Simon Cowell, Nicole Sherzinger and Louis Walsh for all their help/support but not one mention of Cheryl.

Lady Saw - Passion. Healin' and Gal No Worry are fab and the rest of the album is quite fun. She is a dirty cow though and think Lady Sore would be a better name as she's always at it.

Rihanna - Talk That Talk. Only listened to it twice but it doesn't grab me the way that her last album did.

Amy Winehouse - Hidden Treasures. Only listened to it once and probably won't again.

Ry Cooder - Pull Up Some Dust And Sit Down. Listened to it once but haven't had the time to give it the attention it deserves.

Mumford & Sons - finally succumbed to this album after all the raving reviews from 2009 or whenever it came out I'm in love with Laura Marling too and the two of them always seem to be near each other in album descriptions.

Giving it a second listen now and it's growing on me quite a bit

Katy B - I had previously bought Magnetic Man's album and loved that so thought I'd try out Katy B's too. Some good songs on it.
