My dad cut an old wooden door in half for use by my mum and me when we wanted to tap in the kitchen.

I finally watched this show yesterday and really enjoyed it. I loved the Cheek to Cheek routine as well, also the final Girl Hunt number (although the blond wig Darcy had to wear was hideous!). Darcy came across really well- I get the impression she's someone who, now that her ballet career is over, will jump at the chance to do anything dance related. It's lovely to see someone who still genuinely loves dance even after working in the industry for so many years.

That jump is a Freudian slip. During Cheek to Cheek rehearsals she jumped only a minimal distance off the ground. However in the final full-dress dance she startled me by suddenly jumping as high as Kara in her paso. Darcey said she can only do small jumps now, not big jumps, after her snapped anterior cruciate ligament was replaced by transplant with metal reinforcement.

A gorgeous English rose.
