I just feel like every episode of Moffat is regurgitated.

We again now see a space man suit.

In series 6 we kept seeing rory die,
episodes kept ending with, if you believe it will happen.
Amelia pond kept coming back.
River song was dragged on so long.
All the characters made another appearance in the finale.

Please bring back the daleks too.

Your opinion is not fact I'm afraid. So don't make it sound like that! (The amount of users that do this is so annoying!! )

I think the Moff is brilliant and making Who what it should be - magical, spectacular and magnificent.

I most defintely prefer this era to the RTD era and it is one I want to keep on lasting forever!

(Oh, and the longer without the Daleks, the better! They're not needed in the present climate of Who at all!)

I assume by you saying 'Lets be honest' that you think that everyone secretly agrees with you but we don't want to admit it

Not the case I assure you.

Sigh, you're right, I have to be honest with myself. I only pretend to like the show at the moment. I've only bought the DVDs to keep the pretense up. I only discuss it with others because I can't bring myself to face the truth.

Similarly, the countless people (globally now) who watch the show, buy the show and say they love the show are all lying too.

for goodness sake, why do others feel the need to tell me why something is rubbish using opinions as evidence? That's all it is, opinions. I'm entitled to one, you're entitled to one, we're both entitled to express our opinions but don't tell me what my opinion 'really is'.

RTD and Tennant a golden era they will be chasing for years!

Some so called fan don't understand that, but it's something they will learn soon and for the rest of their lives.

Sorry but Matt the prat and Moffet are just Doctor Who lite. Bring back the drama suitable for ALL ages and it was just that; bloody good drama unequalled.

Bring back the gravitas and bring back the balls!

I agree. Since Moffat took over, Doctor Who has become so PG and 'Blue Peter' as my little cousin likes to call it. Matt Smith is amazing and I wish he had better scripts to work with such as The Doctor's Wife.

This excellent blog post sums up how I feel about SM's Doctor Who - http://richardhcooper.blogspot.com/2...octor-who.html

I noticed last night on the Ch5 clip show of great TV moments, it was Tennent's final destructive scene that stole the show with comments like "Well it was such a big thing" "an end of an era"

Why have so many misguided Who fans got it so wrong? Are they kids who know no better?

If that is the case, then it's understandable and forgivable. Sort of.

The budget would have been cut as on average the BBC's budget was doen by 16%. RTD's vision was so large he would not be able to cope with so much less money. Moffat can work with less money, but his scope is therefore lesser than in the time of RTD.

Let's be honest, we've had enough of these pointless debates.
Has anyone heard of something called an "opinion"

o·pin·ion   [uh-pin-yuhn]
noun

1. a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty.

2. a personal view, attitude, or appraisal.

To be fair I think this criticism applies just as much to the RTD era as it does to the SM era, if not more. You can't get much more childish than farting aliens and that diabolical episode with Peter Kay.

Because I'm not a kiddy who has an orgasm at silly little Matt the prat doing children's TV.

And being an adult I am able to appreciate full emotional drama on many levels, (Like it used to be) not flat, one dimentional teenage gung-ho for little boys and sweet stuff for little girls.

Today's Dr Who is great for vacuous teens with no understanding of life.

Enjoy it until you grow out of it.

(Sorry but you seem to not understand the subtlety of my even my post and seem to need it spelt out in baby language.)

Come along now, it is Christmas, no fighting.
I can appreciate how some people find Moffat over-using the same imagery such as the space suit, things coloured Tardis blue and so forth, but what may be repetitive for one person can be clever use of motifs for another.

Kids are the ones who usually throw insults at everyone who disagrees with them. Claiming intellectual superiority over everyone who disagress with you just makes you look petulent.

Your arrogance is quite overwhelming.

Yes by using the childish term "Matt the prat" you are really showing us how adult you are...which isn't very adult at all frankly.

I prefer this era as I like Matt Smith's portrayal. I think RTD's first two seasons were very good too. We all have different opinions, which is what makes a good forum.

It's Christmas for the love of Jesus. Why are you starting arguement provoking threads on Christmas day? Are you that bored? Shame on you, sir.

Well I'm 50 years old and have lived - Bang goes that theory of yours!

Try again!

(P.S. It's not arrogance - It's knowing what I'm talking about)
(Sorry that reality won't change for you but we all have pains to bare)

See my next post as it addresses your bandwagon, say the same thing as the poster above, post as well.

Copying that's what kiddies do in a school exam.

Let's face it all the ones who hate the RTD era are just homophobes who will like anything as long as it doesn't do gay stuff.

The reality behind it all. Stop hiding!

Doesn't matter if your 50 or 15 your comment about Smith was a pathetically childish comment to make and suggests that you are incredibly immature as a person. The kind of comment a child aged 8 or 9 might make.

Well I'm 32, so younger than you but no kid, either. So bang goes your theory, too. Clearly you obviously don't know what you're talking about, but just think you do, then.

The point to my initial post was that I didn't expect you would like someone talking down to you, as you are so clearly doing to everyone else. Your outright arrogant responses have clearly shown that you don't like it.

I thought the possibly putting a mirror on you might make it more obvious to you why your statements are so clearly wrong. But it seems you are one of those people who thinks their own tastes and views equal an undeniable fact. I guess if you haven't learned the inaccuracy of that in fifty years, you never will.

I get it! You're having a laugh!

P.S. DEFINITELY not a homophobe, so bang goes that theory...

I loved RTD's work on the show, he was brilliant. So is Moffat. Most fans of Doctor Who appreciate both of them. Sorry to disappoint.

Bang goes another of his theories, then.
