Best dance of the night. As it ended, I thought it would be the winner.

They were very sweet together as well, shame if they get Charlie to do a full series she wouldn't be partnered with him.

Loved the dance and I love Charlie Brooks

After all her remarks about him never having won anything this was a great punchline, but it was a good little number.

Brilliant they were! Well done

I enjoyed watching them all but Charlie and Vincent were outstanding

Charlie has clearly had the full stage school training at Corona and Arts Ed so it isn't surprising that she could dance. It is pointless having folk like this in these competitions.

I liked Peggy, the plucky loser in Joe Maplin's camp dancing competition.

That would exclude almost any actor under 35 - training is now normal. It would also exclude a majority of singers. That would just about leave older comedians, older singers and actors, politicians and sports people, and exclude most of the show finalists.Charlie can't have even done the standard three year drama school degree most actors now have - because she started work on eastenders so young. if you excluded everyone who did any dance training anywhere at secondary school age you would have even fewer contestants.

I was especially happy for Vincent. They look like they had so much fun in training. It would be great if she could do one serie.

I'm so happy for my boy Vincent to win with Charlie . They were the best couple in the Christmas special I just hope Charlie might think about completing one day in strictly in the future x

Have to agree. I hope she can be spared for a full season next year!

I was not fussed who won but some of them clearly had previous dance training. Enjoyed Vincent & Ian's routines

Nice to see Ian involved again

i dont think celebs who have been on the xmas special are allowed to do the main show?

Apart from Su Pollard, all the acts were excellent. Enjoyed the Christmas Day show ( although watched it Boxing Day as fell asleep Christmas Day) Would love to see the performers on the main series.

I enjoyed all the performances. Even Su's wasn't a the car crash I expected. Charlie was definitely the right winner though and I'd love to see her, Simon or Debra on next year's Strictly show, along with Ian Waite.

Belated congratulations to Charlie and Vincent on their well deserved Strictly win. A trophy for Vincent at last!

I enjoyed the whole show though, with the possible exception of Shaky.

I don't see why they shouldn't because they've allowed celebs that have performed on Sports Relief and CIN SCD specials to do the main show. I'd love to see some of the celebs that have performed on the Christmas shows do the main show - apart from Sue Pollard

Congratulations to Vincent and Charlie - well deserved and a great routine - so glad that Vincent has won a trophy at last

Thought all the acts were OK given that they allegedly only had 4 days training! LOL

However, have to say the pros really let themselves down. As in a lot of the pro routines in the main series, they were very poor. They should take a look at the pro dances on DWTS and start to pull their socks up - big time!

Totally agree, networkbabe. Actually, you can add older actors to that exclusion list as well. My brother was an actor and trained at the Bristol Old Vic - he did plenty of dance training, although he still has two left feet.

We get the same grumbles every year, to which I say - fine, vote for the hapless sportsman who's had the j****** if you like, but having had past training is no guarantee of actual ability either.
