Things Fall Apart by Cristina Monet.

If you heard it you'd probably think "Eh? doesn't sound very christmassy"

You'd be right but I love it.

White Wine In The Sun by Tim Minchin
That'll Be Christmas by Thea Gilmore

There's a serious point to be made here. Christmas airplay is dominated by songs from a time when even Cliff Richard was allowed on the Radio 1 playlist. Nowadays there are too many playlisters who wouldn’t touch the above with a bargepole for fear of being seen to be uncool. Tim’s and Thea’s songs are every bit as good as those of Wizzard, Slade and, Maria Carey, but they are not given the chance to prove that.

Two from 1975: Chris Hill with Renta Santa and the Goodies with Make a Daft Noise for Christmas. When the Goodies' other Christmas hit Father Christmas Do Not Touch Me was on the C5 show last night I realised this is not played either.

Also, Jive Bunny & the Mastermixers had Let's Party in 1989, a medley of 3 other Christmas songs.

It is indeed rarely played sadly, especially mainstream music shows. As it is so under-rated I requested it in 3 requests shows between December 18th and 23rd. Tameside Radio did decide in advance to play it on a 70s show last Wednesday though.
