Logitech harmony 300i

hi all ive just got the logitech harmony 300i to use on my humax foxsat-hdr and im having trouble trying to get the media button to work(for all recorded programmes) tried the teach method from original but it keeps bringing the settings screen up,any help would be greatful,thanks

It may not be much help, but I have had the Harmony 300 remote for almost a year and have programmed the E (enter) button (bottom right button) for media but unfortunately I can not rember how I did it, as I have not needed to alter the settings since, but at least it proves it can be done.

Have you tried connecting it to your PC and programming it that way ? I did and it's very easy. The Logitech software knows about the Humax and sets up most of the buttons, any that aren't pre-configured you can easily do by dragging the command you want on to a button on the picture of the remote.

I "put" the Humax media button on to the List button so it's quite easy to get to.

ive connected it to pc set it all up even taught it the media button from original remote then dragged media from top of list to the list/live/e,enter buttons none bring up the media menu,any more suggestions anyone,thanks
