Anyone else got one? Any hints and tips?

I got the Arnova 10G2, not sure if there is much difference? I seem to be struggling downloading apps using the Appslib supplied with it, also can i download another browser as the one supplied doesn't let you run tabs so can only look at 1 internet page at a time

Yep i spotted that difficulty and is most frustrating.

I want to download music and tv progs, is that possible?

You need to register on the Arnova site to access Appslib and enter Paypal details; they then say there is a 24 hour wait until activation; will see if mine activates by tonight.

You can have more than one page open in the browser but not tabbed as such. Click on horizontal bars top right and a menu bar comes up at the bottom of the screen, you can add a new window and access favourites.

Started playing with mine last night and I am pleased so far, it does everything I wanted it for, browsing, emails, plays videos and shows pictures, runs iplayer and ereader software. The applslib will be a bonus but I'm not that fussed about it (before I've seen it).

apps lib stiiiil isn't working - site has been down since xmas eve.

So I've just done this and installed the full market and it now works a treat

What I had to do was to download the file from the link above to my computer and because it is a .rar file I had to download the free version of WinZip to extract the files. Once extracted, I copied them to the Download Directory on my Arnova by connecting it to my computer via usb and using Windows Explorer. Once copied, you can install the files on the Arnova by using its Files program.

I now have Netflix, Gmail, Nook, Market and other apps working very well on the Arnova. Seems like it was a good purchase except for their lousy customer service. Hope this helps.”
