as a singer to be able to dance with your backing dancers?



Just wondered as there are people in dance class who sing in a band/ group.

I think it probably depends on how challenging the choreography is. I mean Ciara and Leona Lewis both dance with back up dancers and neither sticks out like a sore thumb but obviously the difference between them is how hard the choreography is.

Ciara can keep up with her back up dancers. The difference is Ciara can barely sing and Leona is a fantastic singer. I think you have to be like Janet Jackson, Ciara or Jennifer Lopez to be able to dance properly with your back up dancers and not be overshadowed.
