Sorry if there is already a thread on this my search button doesn't work.
Anyway just read this has to continue it's the worst storyline I've ever seen in a soap and I'm including molly/kevin in this. Does anyone actually like this story?
I quite liked Laurel and Ashley they were just a normal family before this crap now I want Ashley to punch the hell out of Marlon and throw Laurel out.

It's ok. At least it's a change with it being about love rather than lust.

Yeah- it's pretty dreadful

They have no chemistry and are entirely unbelievable

Unfortunately Stuart Blackburn thinks they are so so so romantic so looks like we'll be stuck with this drivel for months - no point pretending otherwise

Yes I saw that interview too - he also thinks the new family are great so we're stuck. It wouldnt be so bad if Marlon didnt fall in love every six months, and walk around with that mopey expression. I'd be quite insulted if he said he was in love with me and couldnt live without me bearing in mind he was madly in love with Rhona and asked her to move in only a short while before, and yes and Moira.

Agreed - I've been wondering how many "true loves" Marlon can have ???

I'm starting to wonder if he's that arrogant or that stupid. Alot of viewers are going to have to stop tuning in order to see any real positive changes in the show. Ratings start tanking then they'll actually try to make changes.

Actually I want marlon to punch Ashley as he's treating laurel like dirt. I know he has a right to be angry but really he needs to get over it or just break up with her.

The countdown for new year starts, Laurel follows Marlon outside, and they dash round the corner for a quick snog, they hiding behind some bushes , and some preying eyes watching them from afar, but who is it

I reckon they'd make a cute and fun couple if they were just together. It's just annoying watching Marlon sulk as he watches Laurel and Ashley, watching them being all awkward with each other, and then having Ashley take it out on Sandy - it's just not enjoyable viewing.

It's appalling. It looks like they're trying to set Ashley up as suddenly being the bad guy as well to justify whatever cringefest of a 'relationship' Maurel end up having.
Like has been mentioned before, it would be different if they had even a tiny bit of chemistry, but they don't. It's like some kind of weird anti chemistry where you can barely look at them whilst on screen without gagging. It's gotten to the point where I have to start watching 15mins late just so I can fast forward through their scenes.

LOL! This is has got to be the most funny and truest comment about the gross duo, Marlon and Laurel. Watching them makes me ill.

I'm actually enjoying the idea of Ashley with a dark side and let's face it he's almost single handedly carried this story line in the sense of making it remotely bearable. However, I just thought Marlon was being ridiculous and laughable when he's been calling Ashley for trying to control Laurel but if that's the story the producers prefer then vomiting is indeed the only answer.

This storyline is just terrible! Theyve known each other for years and to have this come suddenly out of the blue like this its just poor television! But thank god for Ashley who is making this story at least 1% interesting!

I love Ashley and Laurel, now they've ruined it! They're starting to make Ashley look like a bastard. These characters are totally ruined.

Perhaps Marlon will move on and perhaps someone else will be sulking.

i agree with it ruining Ashley and Laurel, but how is it making Ashley look that way?? I'd say Ashley's reacted in a 'normal' way, he doesn't want it to destroy his family so is fighting for them but at the same time is heartbroken and disgusted by his wife, and someone he thought was a family friend's behaviour
